Lio: There's a Monster in My Socks (Volume 7)

I really love the Lio comic strip, but when I got the book it turned out none of the strips were new, they have all appeared in earlier books. This should really not be list as Lio Volume 7, when most of them already are printed in Liō's Astonishing Tales: From the Haunted Crypt of Unknown Horrors-a book I already have.

Love the comic, my twisted childhood. Only you could bring this to life, as do many boys from my time. Monsters were all the rage as is now in your comics. Thanks GR

Mark Tatulli's "Lio" books are masterpieces of silent comic art. Most of his cartoons have no dialog, but they speak, nay scream volumes of humor and human insight. I buy any of his collections i can find, and I would urge anyone who loves comics to do the same.

Like all "Lio" books, this one contains many clever strips. I just wish there weren't so many repeats from earlier "Lio" books. This book does disclose that previously published material is contained within, but it doesn't say how much. Nevertheless, it's still worth having in your "Liobrary."

As I said in another reviewThe comic LIO can best be described as Calvin and Hobbs meets the Far Side. The comics are for the most part hilarious, but every once and a while there is a little hidden message pertaining to things like treatment of animals or nature. I LOVE IT

Love Lio!! I got my 10 year old son to start reading it daily too so this book was perfect for us.

Quite a few of these are chuckle worthy the first or second time. Unfortunately, all of them are old, and most of them are on the 3rd run...If you're looking for an introduction to Lio, it is not so bad. If you've bought some of Tatulli's books before, you'll already have all of these panels.

I loved it! It is good for kids that love lio! If you let your kids have this book (I am one) they will love it to!

Muy recomendable, aunque no apto para padres y madres sobreprotectores y papanatas. La vida es más sencilla de lo que pensamos. Dejemos a los niños ser niños y pensar.
