Delicious Cotton Candy by Gale Hayman 100ml 3.3oz EDT Spray

I really like the bottle design, as it feels unique compared to other perfume bottles. The scent is very nice, not overly strong. It smells clean, but has a touch of that typical sweet cotton smell you’d get from bath and body works. It’s nice for when I don’t want to wear a scent that’s overly strong or when I want a scent that’s more “refined”. One weird thing is that when I try to sniff it through the nozzle it kinda smells like cannabis. But it doesn’t smell that way when sprayed.

I got this perfume as a gift many years ago by my stepmom who was a midnight ballerina and let me just say they always smell good! I have bought this perfume at least 2 times since then thats how much I like it. It can be very overwhelming at first but once it dies down it smells fantastic! it is very sweet but it is very warm and comforting.

I really like this scent. At first spray I can smell an almost licorice note. Which mellows out quite a bit while the scent settles into the skin. I don’t need more than a few sprays. I sprayed about 4 sprays as my nighttime/ before bed scent and after waking up almost 10 hours later I could still smell it. Which that’s a lot of durability for a $22 perfume. I was happy and honestly a little surprised it was as good as I hoped it would be. I spray it with my pink sugar body mist or anything vanilla or caramel. It’s adaptable, I’ve also paired it with a candy, jelly bean perfume I liked and it paired well. It’s perfect for spring and summer and I appreciate having it in my collection. I got it so I can differentiate from my normal warm vanilla gourmands. It’s probably the best cotton candy scent I’ve tried so far. It’s not juvenile and I don’t smell alcohol or even have to wait long for the scent to develop. I will be spraying g this lightly since the licorice note can be a bit overwhelming of if I spray too much. It’s sweet, but not cloying. I was very pleasantly suprised. It’s influenced me to try other gourmands

i have been wearing this perfume every day for the past 10 ish days and here’s my final review.smell: when you first open it- i won’t lie it smells plasticy and you’re like “this doesn’t smell sweet or anything like cotton candy ??” but i was determined. i sprayed it on and again at first i wasn’t a fan of the smell. however after less than 10 minutes the odd plastic/fake smell goes away and you’re left with this incredible SWEET smell. is it cotton candy smelling ? eh not really, more so just smells like sugar (which i love). after figuring this out i altered my routine and sprayed it before i got dressed so that by the time i leave my house it has that sweet smell.longevity: it lasts ALL DAY. yes it begins to not be as “in your face” the longer you wear it but the smell is still there and i actually love the subtly of it. like i know you won’t smell it directly if im just standing there but you will definitely smell it once i move/ walk away. this is perfect for me since i work in an office setting and it’s unnecessary for me to be wearing an in your face scent.would i buy again ??: yes, a little goes a long way with this and i think its a very good price for what you’re getting and i definitely believe this will be my signature scent for a looonnnggggg time.packaging: glass bottle with what i assume is a resin or hard plastic top. it’s cute and sturdy. feels like it’ll last and could withstand a drop or fall

I'm stuck between 3 and 4 stars. First off I would just like to say that I am obsessed with sweet scents, especially cotton candy. I will be comparing this perfume to two other perfumes that I think are this sweetness category.Fantasy by Britney Spears.Sweet like Candy by Ariana Grande.While I would put all 3 of these in the same group they are very different scent wise. Delicious Cotton Candy is more like Sweet Like Candy than Fantasy, but still they are all very different.I guess I will say that out of these three this one smells the most like cotton candy, but it's still not hitting the spot if you know what I mean. I went ahead and tried this because I wanted to spend less money on a sweet perfume. But I am regretting purchasing this. When I smell this it smells almost exactly like a cheap body spray I once tried from Claire's when I was 10. (And this body spray was called cotton candy) I feel like if I didn't have that memory I would like this perfume more but it still wouldn't be my favorite. You get an immediate note of cotton candy for a second when you take a whiff, and then what I can only describe as a "powdery scent" remains. This powdery scent is what takes me back to the body spray made for children.The scent lingers for a long time but it isn't strong like I like mine to be. I think someone would have to be in your personal space to smell it. If that's what you go for it's great, this is all just opinion and preferences here. I don't want someone to smell me from across a room, but I like it when someone can get a non overpowering scent from a few feet away.Right now, after a spray on each wrist, I have my hands in my lap and I cant smell it unless I bring it up to my face.Here is some advice that might be helpful if you are that person who wants to smell like candy land or something in between. If you want to smell exactly like cotton candy I will just say I have never found that in a perfume. I have found it in candles but never a spray.Fantasy by Britney spears is a VERY strong perfume. You will be getting people's attention with more than two sprays of it. It's not close to cotton candy at all, but it's a spicy sweet. More sweet than spicy. When i say sweet it's like straight up brown sugar. I personally enjoy it me being a sweet freak, but it's not my number one.Sweet like candy by Ariana Grande is my all time favorite even after trying this. It's got cotton candy in there for sure, but it's more mature than this one by Gale. It's not overpowering and I by far got the most compliments on it. Sweet like candy gave me the most compliments from men and older women. I've always felt a feeling of "this is what I want to smell like always" with sweet like candy. Its mostly like lollipop cotton candy, with the tiniest hint of fresh. It's not overpowering.Delicious Cotton Candy by Gale, would be my least favorite of the 3. But I would still wear it occasionally. It definitely feels to be for a younger person although the bottle looks to be for someone more mature. There is very little scent throw but the scent lasts all day.I like the packaging for the most part. It seems like contradictory packaging. The outer box is holographic, very pretty and young. And the bottle shape is very unique but I guess the cap says mature to me. I mean, it's a cougar. I honestly thought the bottle was the shape of an actual heart (I couldn't see the photo up close) but I like this better. The cap looks like frosted glass but it's actually plastic. And the cap does not hold itself in place. If you turn it upside down it will fall off and it doesn't keep itself lined up with the shape of the bottle. It's just a loose cap. The bottle itself is awkward to hold and spray. You have to resituate your hand to spray in the right direction a lot.This was super cheap in terms of perfume. So i wasn't expecting it to be highest of quality. For the price it's actually really good. I guess my taste is just a bit more pricey. I was really just looking for a spray that was exactly like cotton candy and it doesn't deliver on that to me. I can see how some people really love this perfume though. I would still wear it.If I was going to give this to anyone as a gift, it would only be to a teenager. I showed this to my grandmother and she absolutely loved the bottle but she couldn't stand the scent. Not because it was sweet, she said the after notes were very odd. I agree.Take with this what you will, just trying to be helpful. Sometimes a scent will grow on you or you will get to a point you cant stand it. I will update if my opinion changes. I wouldn't purchase it again. I'm gonna stick with sweet like candy.

This is hands down the best perfume ever , I’ve used it for a lot of years and it’s so sweet. It’s long lasting and it’s a decent size since you don’t need too much. Depending on the fabric the perfume may last even after washing 10/10

Does not smell anything like cotton candy it smells like the plastic of the lid. It’s kind of weird fragrance. Don’t buy because of name & description because it’s nothing like the name.

I’d like to believe the gods gifted me with the opportunity to own this perfume, but in reality it was a Christmas present from my uncle and his wife when I was 18. And I’m telling you even the iPhone laptop and $150 hair extensions I got that year didn’t measure up toHow much I loved this gift. It quickly became my not cherished perfume and I’ll admit I gate kept the *ish* out if it. Lol. It’s alluring, long lasting, elegant, and classy twist to the classic cotton candy scent is so alluring that a few spritz is all you need and all day long friends strangers and everyone in between are drawn to you and ask you “why do you smell So good!? WHAT are you wearing!? It smells DELICIOUS!” It’s borderline pheromone/aphrodisiac status. It got to a point where I was forced to hide my bottle from my sisters and friends, because the first thing they would ask me when they saw me was “can I use that one perfume with the tiger?” And i feared I wouldn’t be able to find it again so I was very selfish with it. When it got down to the last little bit I would only allow myself to use it on special occasions. The bottle all together lasted me an entire year. The value for the large amount is almost unbelievable, and it lasts such a long time because the scent does fade until you wash the clothes you wore, or take a shower! It is THAT long lasting. I missed this SO MUCH and never thought I’d be able to find it due to never seeing it anywhere in store accept one time in a ross just a few years back. I finally realized that maybe I could find it via Amazon and here I am. I just received it today and ripped open that box so quickly. The scent is just as I remembered. And it’s that type of scent that your nose doesn’t get “used to” so just like everyone around you-you can also smell it on you ALL day long! Absolutely the cheapest priced but “expensive” smelling perfume I’ve ever found.Run to the check out ladies, gays, and theys! don’t walk, because this is one purchase you will never regret! And neither will anyone who is blessed to be close enough to take a whiff of you!
