Works Good if Your Refrigerator Needs These Replaced
I got these to replace the infamous Samsung line of refrigerators that seem to have multiple design flaws. The flaw in this case is the french door hinge that relies on 2 very tiny springs to function and close correctly. For whatever reason, the original ones snapped off. Replacing these is easy if you can find a tutorial online. It isn't hard as these Samsung products have a ton of the same issues. The new springs work well and still work after months of daily use.

Good replacement, but had to modify slightly
It isn't a problem with the part. The part looked identical to the one I replaced.The reason a modification was needed is why the original broke in the first place -- over time, the hole that the sleeve goes into on the fridge widened slightly. So, the spring ends up running and sticking within the little carved out box in the fridge. Had to bend the replacement a bit on both sides of the arms to pull back the coil portion from rubbing against the box (where the pencil is pointed in my picture). The issue is NOT this spring. It is wear and tear on the fridge door.

Did its job
We purchased these to replace the broken spring on our Samsung French door refrigerator. The most important thing is to install it the right side up. The end that is bent is the top, and you should install the top first. I used needle nose pliers, installed the top, then had my daughter hold the flap closed and I used the pliers to install the bottom. This is definitely a job that is easier with two people but you could always tape the flap down to achieve the same result for installation.I like that it came with two so we can reserve the other in case this one ever breaks. I taped the zip lock bag they came in on the inside of my vegetable drawer so it won't get lost. Over all very happy with my purchase.

I used these to fix my Samsung RF197 Series Fridge even thou they don't list it. Was easy to install but if you don't have strong fingers you may need help.
