Best Vocals ever

I discovered this quartet on the now gone Classical FM video channel and was so captivated by their stunning vocals. Each vocalist has their own unique sound which all are stunning as solo artists, but brought together they are spellbinding. I do have a funny story that when I had this Classical FM channel on in the background one day my mum was visiting and she told me they were brothers, after much laughter, I told her the group was actually founded by Simon Cowell (not his biggest fan - but got to give credit when credit is due, he deserves respect for his achievement)Carlos Marín, David Miller, Sébastien Izambard and Urs Bühler have made such magical music. I remember playing Isabel to my daughter-in-law who admitted she didn't really listen to classical music, and I described how the different singing ranges worked, and used 'Isabel' as a example, when Carlos Marin came in with the power of his baritone approaching the conclusion of track, it was wonderful and quite breathtaking to see the effect in her eyes and face. I have to say it made this song very special to me.The other favourite track is O Holy Night which made me find their Christmas album

Il Divo return with their second album and certainly live up to their naming. Wonderful selection of known songs with their own unique twist, plus the superb original track 'Isabel'.As soon as the CD starts spinning I would defy that anyone could not resist humming/tapping or singing along with these renditions.Highlights of the album, well for me, are;Isabel (highly recommend reading the online translation of the song)HeroeUnchained MelodyPour Que Tu M'aimes EncoreO Holy NightI hope this review helped you. Beautiful compilation of some of Il Divo's best early tracks. Very atmospheric and inspiring even though most tracks are sung in Italian, a language I can't comprehend! Seemless blending of voices makes for very easy and pleasurable listening. This cd inspired me to see them live in Cardiff recently and they were outstanding. Listen and see!

I already own this CD myself and a friend loved it so much when we played at an Italian evening that she said she wanted to buy one, as it is her birthday I have bought this plus another CD as a gift thank you

Could have done without Celine Dion joining in on track 3. Otherwise, another great selection of songs from 4 divine men
