Does this unit work with home voip svc such as ooma?

Yes, the Cisco 8800 series IP Phones can be e provisioned to download configuration profiles or updated firmware from a third-party remote server but it first has to be converted to MPP (multiplatform) firmware which includes license (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/collaboration-endpoints/unified-ip-phone-7800-series/guide-c07-742786.html). Once the firmware migration is done, provisioning can be completed to ISPs like ooma which use SIP. If i buy 3 phones, will it work at my new office? provider will be either nextiva, vonage or zoom...still deciding but i like the phone, in white ia

No. This offered model is intended to work only with Cisco CUCM, CME and Cisco BE6000 call-control systems. To have this work with nextiva, vonage or any other SIP service provider you will need to move to the 3PCC model ( CP-8841-3PCC-K9 ) which provide support for third-party call control systems.
