Van Heusen Men's Long Sleeve Point Collar Linen Rayon Button Down

I was going to return this shirt because it fit way to large when I took it out of the package. I knew nothing about linen other than it will keep you cooler in the summer. So, before I returned it I looked up "how to shrink linen shirt." It turns out, you don't have to shrink linen because it will shrink on its own in the first wash. Below I will explain the process.I soaked the shirt in water overnight and then the next day I put it in my washing machine on handwash cycle (if you don't have this you should probably wash by hand). I then let the shirt hang dry. Once dry the shirt was a little slimmer and a little shorter (just right). Out of the package the shirt was really itchy, but now it's a lot less itchy. I only gave this product a 4 star rating because of the extra work involved and the uncertainty of it shrinking more in the future.

Overly warm and itchy material.

I like it a lot. Someone said that it might not be the right shirt for short people...well, I agree. I'm 6 feet tall and it is SLIGHTLY too big. Very comfy though.

Sleeve length was right but the shirt length was way too long for a shorter guy. Sent this back, didn't bother getting a smaller size.

It was way too itchy. After I washed it, it became way too small! The arms shrunk like crazy and now I can only wear it if I roll the sleeves up, and it's still a little itchy, but less so. Considering just throwing out.

Felt roomier than most XL shirts, but comfortable.

It's very large...I'm a tall guy (1.94cm ) and normally a I buy XL/fit.This time i bought an L and it seems i bought and XXL.By the way, the color is exactly as described
