Great coffee, here is what you need to make it...
I love this coffee and I have been buying it for many years. Now, if you are not Greek or Turkish or you do not know how to make this coffee, you will need to purchase a special coffee pot such as this one: MisterCopper Hammered Copper Turkish Greek Coffee Pot Coffee Maker With Wooden Handle 1 mm ( 10oz ) . NOTE, if you are not going to make more than one cup of coffee at the time, you should not get anything bigger than 10 oz pot. Typically a cup of this coffee is about 3oz although many people make it a double for about 5 ounces. You will also need small cups to pour the coffee once it is ready and that is important. The cup will need to be thin (small radius) to allow this coffee to self filter properly. I suggest something like these: HIC 9-Piece Stackable Espresso Coffee Tea Set, Fine White Porcelain, Set Includes 4 (4-Ounce) Cups with Matching Saucers and Metal Stand, Gift Boxed So now that you have the coffee pot and the coffee cups, you are ready to make this coffee.1) For a single cup of coffee, put half to a full teaspoon of coffee in the coffee pot and add sugar (typically as much as coffee). If you want it sweet, you can make the sugar 2 times the amount of coffee you use.2) Fill the coffee pot with water but not all the way up. About 3 to 4 ounces of water per cup of coffee. The coffee will not mix with the water and it will rise to the top but do not attempt to mix it yet.3) Put the pot on the stove and turn the stove to high. After a minute or so, use a teaspoon to mix the coffee in the water. When the water is warm enough, it will mix as soon as you stir it. If the water is cold, it will stick to the spoon (kind of like stirring cocoa in cold milk).4) Now this is very important!!! Do not walk away from the pot. You do not have to do anything but you must watch it so you can take it off the stove as soon as the coffee rises because otherwise it will spill and although it is easy to clean, it will give your house the odor of burned coffee. You must let the coffee rise close to the rim of the pot before you take it off the stove and pour it directly in the cup. That's it, wait a couple of minutes to cool down a little before you start drinking it. This is a self filtering coffee and after you drink the great tasting liquid you will find the coffee at the bottom of the cup. This process works so well that you will not drink even a bit of the solid coffee that sits at the bottom. Note that you cannot pour this coffee from one cup to another because you will upset the solid coffee parts that sit at the bottom. So you cannot decide to take this coffee on the road with you and pour it in a "to go" cup. Just stay home and enjoy it.It may sound like a long and complicated process but it is actually quite easy to do and I have to tell you that when I offer it to a friend that never had it, they always love it and ask me where can they get it. I had friends that took pictures of the package so they can order it and make it themselves.

A unique and unexpected treat
For everyone who is wondering if you can put this coffee into an automatic drip machine: of course you can. But it's not intended to be prepared that way and you can tell that as soon as you open the bag. This is a light roast Greek coffee, which means it's blonder than even blonde coffee connoisseurs might be accustomed to. It's also a very fine grind, so fine it forms moist little clumplets in the bag. It gives off an aroma that puts me more in mind of baking cocoa than of Starbucks. And it brews up with a fine head of crema more naturally than any espresso I've ever had to tamp. The instructions on how to make Greek coffee are on the back of the bag, and the only thing you might be missing in your kitchen is a briki, but if you have a small pot with an interior that won't react badly with the coffee you will be fine, especially if the pot has some taper at the top. I had a fondue pot going unused that filled in nicely. The coffee really does have a strong cocoa-like flavor to it, it is not very bitter, and it tastes better with just sugar no cream. I imagine this would make for some really good camp coffee too. It's probably not going to replace my everyday city blend, but for a treat it's really good.

Expiration date 4 months after purchase
I wish I knew when I ordered it. The package is large, it lasts me half a year. The expiration date should be obvious when one orders. This coffee loses its scent and flavor fast. The product is not eligible for return.

Nice mellow flavor
I gave 4 for thickness because it depends how you cook your coffee. It’s real greek coffee light brown and not overly roasted. I love the taste. It’s mellow and can have a nice foam if you put enough coffee. Tastes well if you prepare it like american coffee too (in a pot dont put it in the machine it will clog it). The grains are really small so it’s nice if you like to turn your cup too to read the coffee

Greek Coffee
This was the first time I had tried Greek coffee. When I opened the bag I instantly liked the smell of the grounds. The best smelling coffee ever! Initially the taste didn't match the smell but once I perfected my technique I really enjoyed the taste. Preparation does really make a difference to the end result. It's worth the effort to experiment with different measures of coffee and how many times you bring it to the boil until you get the combination that works for you. My personal preference is 8oz of water, 2 heaped teaspoons of Bravo, 2 teaspoons of sugar. Mix in a Greek/Turkish coffee pot. Boil until the foam on top almost touches in the middle. Remove from heat and let it sit for 20 seconds. Then place it back on the heat and bring to a boil. Remove it once again for 20 seconds. Bring back to a boil. Remove it again just before it boils over and let it sit for 30 seconds before pouring into a cup.
