Good quality wallcovering. Highly recommend
Have only just put this on wall. Good quality covering. Easy to use as not paper thin so handles well, dosnt rip. Sticks, grips wall great. Covers well with ordinary wallpaper once up. Only time will tell if stops any damp matls appearing, but I have high hopes this will work.

Excellent product
I wish I'd known about this before. Had some cold spots attracting condensation and mould growth - one very badly affected area. Removed the decoration and put this on then patched up. Problem solved there but now a noticeable difference between the 'repair' and the adjacent wall that still has minor blemishes. I would have no hesitation in using this in the future for entire walls BEFORE doing anything else internally.

Where has this been all my life!
We live in a very beautiful but very damp Victorian house and sadly, damp has been causing us no ends of problems. I was having a window seat built into the bay window but when I inspected it, the wallpaper was soaked and mouldy. I didn't want to just cover it up with the built in window seat and have issues arise laterFound this online and oh my gosh, it's amazing. Peeled off the wallpaper and wiped it over to clean off the mold and then wiped the walls down with a bleach mixture and left to dry. I have never wallpapered in my life so this was a new experience!I was probably over generous with the wall paste in honesty (bought the damp block paste that goes with this) but it went up with no issues. Very easy to cut and place. Left to dry for 24 hours and then I repasted the old wallpaper on top using the damp block adhesive again. This was to make 100% sure it was sealed and also because there's about an inch of wallpaper visible when the window seat was installed!Been about three weeks or so now with heavy rain (thanks Wales) and have had no issues. I swear the room is even warmer now! Will be buying more and doing the other two damp walls in our home and wallpapering over the top. Massively recommend!

Covers damp walls
So far this product is excellent. I have dampness around what used to be a fireplace chimney. Being a plasterer I installed a chemical damp course and replastered. But the dampness was still lingering.I used this dampstop as a liner for the top wallpaper. The correct glue was also used and weeks later the wall is dry to touch with no peeling.Impressed with this I really am

So far so good
I used this on outside walls that had a slightly damp problem (bay window side of a Victorian dining room) and so far so good. I prepped the wall properly first by sanding it down, removed loose flaking plaster by hand, then painted problem areas with a coat of damp stop paint (I did this in winter so I could see where I really have moisture problems). This was then put up with the adhesive paste, which is expensive for the size but don't want it coming down again too soon. The paste is very thick, and I have porous walls so it started absorbing the paste quickly which meant working a bit faster. The lining went up well, I could move it on the wall but not much, my advise is to use a plastic wallpaper smoother rather than a brush as you need the pressure. Once it was finished it looked a bit bumpy in places but it cut and joined well, especially around corners and around the radiator. I wallpapered over it with a heavy embossed paper and the finish is very smooth. I used a premix thick wallpaper paste just to be sure it stuck and so far so good.
