I really like this ink as it has great color! The bottle also seals nicely when not in use. Their is a light scent of cranberry that becomes more obvious once you have written a full paragraph or page. The scent is not overwhelming. I will definitely purchased more of this brand of ink. I have not tested it for water resistance.

I love this lavender fountain pen ink by Pelikan. I wanted a purple that was not so dark that it looked like black. It also lightly smells of relaxing lavender fragrance....in the bottle, while writing, and after it dries. Flows smoothly. Dried quickly. I'd buy it over and over again.

Well the ink arrived from the seller in a timely fashion and the bottle was intact and was full to the top and it was every bit as bright a color as the pictures online. However one thing that I did not realize was it looks a lot like the color green you would get out of a crayon. I'm not sure what I really expected but when I saw it on paper I realized I'm not going to be using this color very often I had some other greens already that were of a darker nature that I feel like I could use in a more traditional business kind of setting but there's no way I could use this color in a business setting and although I wanted it originally I realized after I got it I don't draw and this color would be excellent for artwork but if you're looking for this for a business kind of a setting it just doesn't sit well... it doesn't look professional for business kind of setting. I am giving it 4 stars because it's not a negative on the ink itself but rather a negative in my perception and planning it was eye candy that made the ultimate purchase not the actual you said I would be putting it too. So yes I'm giving this a 4-star because the ink does everything that it was intended to do and I'm not going to dock it because I had a bad perception about what I would ultimately use it for why would I give at 4 instead of 5 it's a much wetter ink than I anticipated I don't personally care for wet inks but then I do mostly writing not drawing if you're doing drawing I can see an advantage to having a wet ink for used in various blending kind of situations or more of a water art but for taking notes and things like that or sign documents this particular ink would not suit well. Even if it was the right color for purposes of that kind.

Not gonna lie...I bought this purely for the smell. And it lives up to its title...a lovely cedar wood smell when writing but not overbearing at all. Be warned however, this ink feathers like mad. My page looked like it had a systemic infection after a minute of writing with this ink. Just spider-veins everywhere...

Color bright. Scent very light but noticeable

Doesn't smell like Cedar. Doesn't smell like anything. The bottle says cedar but there's no cedar scent inside. These other reviews talk about an overpowering scent, they must have got a different product. burned again... Update: They never responded to my return request and I had to file a claim. Save yourself some aggravation and don't buy this.

What I like about it is that it’s a nice bright red and it flows nicely. I used it in a piston-fill fountain pen and it did quite well. What I don’t like.... where’s the scent? The cranberry didn’t smell like anything except an occasional vague acidic whiff. I mean which yeah cranberries are sharp, tart, and sour. But this didn’t have to be. I also bought the rose scented pink ink. That one smells like rose. The pink is a bright warm rosy pink tone, also flows well. But I didn’t feel like the scent lasted very long before fading. But maybe I just got desensitized to it.
