I never ever write reviews but with my search for a good pregnancy pillow I relied so heavily on reviews I need to share my success with this pillow for others! Let me preface this with the fact that I’m 29 weeks pregnant and have been an avid belly and back sleeper so sleeping on my side since week 20 has been an ADJUSTMENT. The first pillow I got was a U shaped. I hated it… too difficult to get out of when I had to pee and was lumpy and just blah. Returned it for a j shape with one side being a wedge for my belly. It was more comfortable because I could use my own pillow but I still rolled onto my back and had hip pain at night. Next I tried the double wedge, did research and it seemed simple and was supposed to stop rolling onto the back. I could not get comfortable and I still rolled onto my back.. Velcro didn’t stay together. Finally last ditch effort researching best pillows to prevent hip pain and rolling onto back I came across the c shape and thought I’ve tried everything else I’ll try one more. FINALLY. I was crying in the night with hip pain only at night because my body isn’t used to side sleeping and pressure on my hips and I was so uncomfortable and getting no sleep but all that has ended with this pillow. It supports my back so nicely and keeps me from rolling over onto my back. It gives support between my legs without a loose pillow always falling on the floor. I do use a little wedge (the one from my j shape pillow) to support the belly and I stack it up on a slight incline but it’s so comfortable and I’m finally making it through the night pain free. THANK GOD. If you’re like me and struggle to sleep on your side, this is the pillow. Your search is over! Don’t spend 9 weeks playing around just get this one. It’s not lumpy or cheap feeling it fills out nicely without being giant you’ll love it.

This is my third c-shaped body pillow. When I was pregnant with my second child, the c-shaped body pillow was a new innovation and the only brand was snoogle. I purchased my first snoogle and used it for less than a year. It became too flat and lumpy for comfort. A few years later I bought another snoogle. I'm a side sleeper and I suffer from RLS, so it can be difficult to get comfortable and fall asleep at night. The c-pillow enabled me to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. However, the snoogle has hard stuffing that feels like layers of tshirts, and it gets lumpy and flat over just six or so months. I didn't want to keep buying a new pillow every few months, so I gave up my dream. But I never forgot how good it felt to sleep with that support. Now, years later, there are lots of choices for c-shaped pillows. I decided to try again. This pillow had great reviews, many of which referenced the same issues I experienced with snoogle. The price was great so I decided to go for it. When I first unboxed the pillow I was concerned because the stuffing was very unevenly distributed and there were big empty spots. Then I realized that this was a packing technique so it could be folded up. I pounded and smushed the stuffing and it was pretty easy to distribute it and fluff the pillow up in just a few minutes. The cover is high quality. It was easy to put on the pillow and fit perfectly (unlike snoogle covers, which are cheaply made, take forever to wrestle onto the pillow, and are ill fitting and wrinkly). The stuffing is a light and fluffy cotton batting that felt amazing to snuggle up to last night. I slept soundly through the night. I'm extremely pleased with this pillow. Time will tell how well it holds up. But based on my initial experience I am optimistic. This seems to be a carefully designed, high quality product -- at a very reasonable price

This pillow is absolutely perfect. When I first pulled it out of the box and took off the wrapping to let it expand, I was slightly disappointed because it felt uneven in one spot. I fluffed the pillow as recommended and left it on my bed near a sunny window and it was fully fluffy when I laid down to try it out, and then decided to take a quick nap. It’s so supportive. At first I was frustrated with how big it was (I’m 5’10” & nearing my 3rd trimester, and I almost opted from the larger “for tall & 3rd trimester women” version and I’m glad I did not) but if you make it into a C with the larger hook at the bottom, crawl into it, tuck the bottom part between your legs, and it reaches up to your belly to support it. It’s not too enclosing feeling either, you feel perfectly supported with the ability to move around. I’m using it on my queen bed (sleeping alone) and it fits nicely but it would be uncomfortable for another person to sleep in the bed along with me and the pillow. The pillow is worth it. I’m still getting used to sleeping with it because I toss and turn a lot, but it puts me to sleep in seconds, it’s the comfiest pillow I’ve ever owned (even the head/ neck support, I kept forgetting it wasn’t my other pillows fluffed up) and I’ve already recommended to my friends who need extra back and neck support while sleeping, as I would 100% buy this again. This is a must-have during pregnancy. My sleep and just overall level of comfort have drastically improved. I also wanted to note that I purposely waited until I was further along in my pregnancy but I HIGHLY recommend this to women at every stage of pregnancy, if I had it in the beginning I would have been getting better sleep. It’s also super easy to spot clean and to wash, the pillow has easy zippers on the pillowcase (which is super stretchy, soft, and cooling) and the pillow itself has a zipper so you can unzip and fluff it if need be. I’m going to update and add some pictures tomorrow because the pictures on here don’t seem to do it justice.

I searched for a long time for a cooling pillow, as someone going through menopause and living in Arizona, this is definitely needed. While I don't believe this pillow actually has "cooling" effects, the pillowcase material is definitely cooler than cotton cases would be. I gave up a u-shaped pillow that I really loved but it was cotton and was just way too. Overall I'm really pleased with it, and it will work for my needs. It is very comfortable.

This pillow is very comfortable and provides great support for my back, legs, and hips. It’s soft but still supportive, and the size is perfect for relaxing or sleeping. I also like how it wraps around the body and helps me find a comfortable position. The cover feels nice and the pillow has held its shape well. Definitely a great body pillow!

So, a ton of reviews are of sadly flat looking pillows. And yes, upon arrival and unpacking, my C-shaped pillow from Insen was a bit lacking in the fluff department. HOWEVER, I read the enclosed instructions that clearly stated: let the pillow breathe for 48 hrs. Day 1, I unpacked it and then I placed a soft blanket on my bedroom floor and let it do its thing. Visibly fluffier on Day 2, so I flipped it over and left it alone for the rest of the second day and night. Day 3: I have a perfectly fluffy pillow that I actually had to STUFF into the accompanying pillowcase. This pillow is awesome, and I’m NOT even pregnant! I’m actually recovering from a hysterectomy, and I wish I had pre-ordered this pillow instead of those stupid bed pillow wedges (which I sent back to Amazon and used the refund to buy this fantastic pillow with $25 left to spare). So, in closing, let the pillow (without the pillow case on it) breathe. And every week or two, leave it in the sunshine! (Also sans pillowcase). It’s great to re-fluff it again and sunlight also kills germs! Plus you should probably be washing the pillow case!! Seriously, it is worth it. The ONLY issue I’ve encountered is that the pillowcase’s zipper is not covered by a cloth lip. So I can feel the (plastic) zipper with my arms or legs depending on how I’m positioned. This doesn’t really bother me and it’s worth the otherwise excellent comfort, support, and pain relieving factors! I have degenerative disc disease in my C and L spine, as well as nerve impingement, sciatica, and rheumatoid as well as osteoarthritis. I have not taken any pain medication since buying this pillow. Not even a Tylenol. No joke.

Worth it! Must have! I was nervous because there were some negative reviews but as soon as I opened the vacuum sealed bag it instantly started to puff back up! It arrived the very next night after ordering, was delivered around 8pm and by 11pm I was in bed using the pillow. And it was perfect! I don't like firm hard pillows, I like soft plush pillows that are still supportive and this pillow is exactly that! There was a shallow spot in the pillow that I was nervous about but my BF mentioned how it is actually ideal to be able to fold and twist the pillow into a coil position or stacked which was right. I am 5 months pregnant and I fall asleep on my side but roll over and wake up on my back. Also I tens to sleep on my right side a lot so trying to stay on my left side and not roll over was difficult and uncomfortable using regular pillows. This is so comfortable and cozy. I am 5'5" and 118 before pregnancy and it's a great size for me. Someone closer to 6' should get the oversized pillow. I was torn between the C shape and the U with the detachable pillow but I am really happy I went with this shape and this brand! I included a picture of the tiny box it was shipped in and the 1st picture without the pillow case on it was taken only 5 minutes or so out of the box! While opening the 2nd layer/last bag I started shaking the bag to let air in and help the pillow spread out and fluff up, and then as the directions say continue to fluff pillow up. It was perfect in minutes. And I slept like a baby, was comfortable and didn't roll over onto my back. So far, worth every penny!

No velvet cover, it comes with plain cotton cover. It isnt svaccum packed, hence came already fluffed. It is not as firm as shown in the pics. Very flimsy. No product manual in the box.
