This is a great tape measure and a great value. It has both metric and imperial markings on both sides of the tape. The lettering is crisp and clear - just enough information to be useful but not too much to be confusing. It has magnets on the tip help hold it in place. The positive lock holds the tape well. The only feature missing for me is a tip that goes both up and down.

Very good stuff

The Kutir has some heft to it, which hopefully means that it is well built. In the box with the metal tape measure was a plastic 300 cm measuring tape. It has both a belt clip and a hand strap. The magnetic hook is strong enough to hold the end of the tape measure while you pull away. Measurements on the metal tape appear clear and easy to read and it's really nice that the back side of the tape is also ruled. I checked the tape against a metric ruler and it is spot on when it is hooked onto something. However, when hook is held by the magnet, the tape measures a fraction of a millimeter too long. The tape lock does lock the blade, but it's not strong enough to prevent the tape from rolling slowly back into the housing if you press on the hook end.I'll update these notes after a few months if there are any issues with durability.

Easy to use and read. Has a magnetic end on the tape hook, a strap handle and belt clip that also helps. The tape is wide with numbers printed on both sides which is also a plus when using the hook. The locking button is very good, it has an audible 'click' that ensures it's safely secured, it works great for household projects. I don't do construction but I would assume that this tape measure would also work well for heavy duty work because of it's strong casing and weighted feel. Overall I would definitely recommend it for it's ease of use, affordable price and value.

I needed a tape measure for my grandson to use for his homeschooling science projects and was surprised to find that only 1 of the 7 tape measures we had on hand also had the metric measurements we needed but that one was the one my husband uses for his work. So I ordered this one and it was a great price. I was a little skeptical of how the quality was going to be BUT I was pleasantly surprised that it was sturdy, the with of the tape itself is nice and wide with easy to read numbers, and along with the fact it gives metric measurements the locking device actually works. Plus it's durable enough for a 9 year old to use, drop, snap the tape back in aggressively and still work perfectly. Thanks for a really great product!!

The tape is just what I was looking for with Metric on one side and imperial measurements on the other. Also Excellent customer service to resolve a quality issue.

When locked, it still moves. Good for just measuring but not as a tool
