How much elemental magnesium is in this?  The label doesn't say if the 200 mg is elemental.

There’s 200 mg elemental magnesium in each capsule. The question is whether it’s all from magnesium glycinate. I just read an online article that explains the most you can get into a single capsule is 850 mg. Since magnesium glycinate is, at most, 14% elemental magnesium, you can’t get more than 120 mg elemental magnesium in a single capsule.

However, if you combine the magnesium glycinate with magnesium oxide (which is 58% elemental magnesium), you can reach 150-200 mg elemental magnesium per capsule. And the article explains that, in some cases, the manufacturer will not include this info in the ingredients panel.

The ingredient listing on the bottle that I received is exactly as shown on Amazon's website ingredient listing. Nothing added, just the "vegetable cellulose capsule," which contains all of the listed ingredients. In my opinion, based on my experience, this is a product that I would recommend.

It says Buffered, buffered with what exactly?

Mag oxide (as well as cal oxide) can act as a buffering agent to acids. Many people have stomach issues when the mag is in a citric acid base (ie mag citrate) so the addition of a small amount of mag oxide can be very helpful to people with sensitive stomachs including my mother who is normally not able to do the citrates.

We use Size 00 capsules which have dimensions of 0.796 x 0.336 inches (or 2 cm x 0.8 cm).

If you have trouble swallowing you can easily open the capsule and add the vitamin powder to your food or drink.
