Easy way to fix the rain sensor .
Works as advertised and is really easy to do. The hardest Part is to get the cover off from the Mirror assembly, but even that was easy. There is not much needed and with a 3 year Shelf life, you have enough left in the tubes to get it done again if needed. Great Product. I would recommend this over fixed gel pads that never will connect to the surfaces as this liquid is doing. Actually there was a gel pad installed before and it failed. Thatโs why I had to do this in the first place. Definitely recommend this product.

Softer than 5200, harder than silicone
I really really like this adhesive, not as hard as 5200 harder than silicone. I potted down wires with this and the end result was exactly what I wanted.

Holds well, good gap filler.
Used this to fill the seam between the hull and deck. Used an electric calking gun allowing for controlled flow into the seams which were 22ft runs from stern to bow. took two tubes of Silkaflex. While fresh it was easy to use a scraper to push this material deeper into the seam and simple to remove excess leaving a smooth seam level with the deck. It took several days to harden to my satisfaction and in the meantime collected a layer of dust onto its surface. Once painted there is a subtle but clear discoloration showing through the paint. It's a good product but as this was a restoration job on a classic wooden boat I think epoxy would have been a better choice. But, no complaints with how this material works and I'm sure it will hold up for some time as the hull and deck flex a bit with movement and with the natural swelling and shrinking inherent in wood.

Easy to apply and did the job
Use these to chalk around swimming pool vents while the water was low. Turned rock hard and still fine after a couple months.

Great product if you have humidity
Wonderful, grippy, but gooey to apply - super great adhesion - but absolutely need humidity such as East or West coast, near water, Great Lakes or humid Georgia. I live in Colorado and it is still gooey on my sailboat - called the company - they said need 50-60% humidity or it won't dry. Used in my bathtub and I had to leave hot steaming water in the tube twice and it adhered perfectly. Otherwise would be 5 stars in a humid climate. 2 stars for Colorado - but it's not chemical reaction for drying - it's reactive to humidity.

I like the color
Each type of caulk has its own purpose and this is not structural quite obviously. I like the fact that It can be above or below the waterline but I would not ever use this below the waterline. As I suspected there are better ways; that said knowing that they don't have a problem with it being underwater makes me feel a lot better about it being above water on my deck. Acting as a sealant.

Perfect for SportsPal aluminum canoe repair
I bought this Sika 291 to repair an aluminum canoe. This marine urethane is basically the same thing that SportsPal sells in their repair kit. I haven't used it yet but based on other reviews it will be fine for the repair I set out to accomplish Regarding other reviewers stating they received out of date or wrong colour product, I ordered black and got black and the use by date was 9 months into the future (July 2025) beyond my purchase date Nov/2024.

RV ROOF REPAIR
This stuff is amazing! After removing the old antenae from my rv, it left a massive hole in my roof membrane. I used 75% of 1 black tube to trowel over the 12" hole. Then I used a thin layer of white to make it match. After sealing the rest of the rv with white, I tested everything the next day with a garden hose. Where water had previously come in, it was bone dry! I waited 3 weeks and went on holiday. I tested it again after super hot weather and the garden hose. My 18ft rv trailer is still bone dry! Trailer is flexing under dry/wet conditions. Very happy with this amazing product!

Expensive for size .
Expensive for what size. There are other silicones on the market to look into before purchasing Sika Sikaflex 201.

Works great for a fishing kayak sonar tranducer
I used this adhesive to bond a sonar transducer to the bottom of a fishing kayak after watching some helpful videos on You Tube, it does as advertised and created a strong bond and there is no signal interference whatsoever.I would suggest bonding and orienting the transducer while the kayak is in the water so you can match the actual depth and the reading on the sonar as it needs to be oriented perfectly.
