I bought the first one four years ago and it’s only just starting to show wear. It’s very easy on and off and is the only thing my puggle never escaped from. The handle is sturdy enough to help lift him if necessary and he moves comfortably- when I hold it out he steps right in happily. It does nothing to stop him pulling but I think that would take an act of god.

Miss Houdini the Wonder Dog successfully defeated four other harnesses, slipping loose and running. This one has proven escape proof. It's sturdy and comfortable on her, and I especially like the carrying handle. A couple of times I have had to carry 15-20 ft when she refused to walk the direction we were headed, home. It's a great product, and I have recommended it to other dog owners. Ibadded the 1/8 x 1-1/2 inch carabiner (second photo) to the leash ring to give more freedom of movement to the leash so it doesn't twist. That is, the dog walks to my side, not straight in front of me. I put a drop of Loctite to the carabiner barrel nut to ensure it wouldn't open and slip off the harness. Again, a great product that I recommend.

I was really excited hearing about this product being escape proof for dogs, this gave me security that my dog wouldn’t be able to escape as it’s given name. BUT instead of that, it has officially given me ptsd with my dog, As I stated in the title, this product broke after not even a full days use. I had to do some shopping so I put this on my dog, and leashed her up cause she likes to escape. As I come home from the store, not even 2 hours later, (because I forgot something) I didn’t see her in the front yard, I got worried, saw that the vest had been broken, my dog was nowhere to be seen, luckily she only went as far as my neighbors back yard. Would I recommend this product for anyone else? Definitely not.

I rescued a fat beagle and we are his 4th home in 6 months. He has attacked me (yep, a beagle) and bit me and my husband. He has escaped from every harness/collar we have bought, until we got this one. This harness was invaluable because 1. he never has escaped from it and 2. the handle on it. When he was trying to bite us because he caught a scent and we wanted him to come in, we just grabbed him by the handle that is attached to the harness. He was afraid of walking on stairs, we used to handle to carry him up and down. He has lost weight, so we have it tightened as far as it can go and it is a little big on him now, but this harness has made our lives easier. We kept it on him 24/7 for about a month, just because it was easy to handle him with it and it acted like a security blanket. The quality is good on ours, very well made. I don't know what the difference would be between ours and the 1 star reviews that I read, but we are extremely happy and Teddy is here to stay.

The Mihachi No Pull Dog Harness should be called the Houdini harness! This harness has been a god send for my escape artist of a husky. My husky is 6 years old and has escaped from countless collars, training collars, and other harnesses. But not this harness. The Mihachi harness has been a great tool to help with her training and socializing. As a husky owner I know that her natural job is to be a puller and this harness has helped us train her to ease up on her walks and let us take the lead. My female adult husky is a little on the huskier side at 60 lbs and uses the size L. Pros for this product is that it is very easy to get on and off, easy to clean, has a handle at the top that help with training a puller, and easy to adjust for size of your pup. This product is high quality and very durable - I’ve had my harness for 3 years with no need for replacement but had to replace since I lost it during a move. The only con for this product is that the color selection is very limited to one color.

Well darn it. I thought I had finally gotten a harness that my Husky couldn't get to to chew apart.This harness fit well, however she was still able to get to it and it took her about 2 minutes to chewher way through it. This will be the 4th harness this summer. Just beware if you are thinking yourdog can't chew through this, they can if they want to. If it wasn't for that it would probably be a greatharness. It fit well and seemed to be comfortable.

I have a three year old siberian husky that is a master escape artist. I've seen her break out of multiple harnesses. She typically does it when she's hooked outside and no one's watching her. This is the first one I've gotten that she has not broke free from. It's really sturdy and very easy to adjust. I love the handle on it. The reflective material is also great. My husky also seems very comfortable in it, she sleeps and naps in it!Nothing bad to say about this one so far! I tried the "rabbetgoo" harness here on amazon prior to this one and she broke out of it in 5 minutes. This one seems a lot better.

I have an Alaskan Husky that has escaped from every harness ever purchased. He is an anxious dog and gets nervous easily. His response is escape. However, with this harness, my dog has finally met his match! So happy to have found it! Well made, no tearing, adjustable, sturdy and almost a year later still going strong! Highly recommend for people who have dogs that are escape artists like mine!

Really hard wearing, lots of adjustments in straps, very secure for dogs who are escape artists, tried lots of others, would recommend and buy this one as cannot wriggle out, great harness.

I bought this harness for my english bull terrier, she knows how to slip out of normal harnesses. This harness is AMAZING i dont know why they dont make these in all the other brands! Having the extra strap around her body makes it impossible for her to slip out, and im very happy.

It’s very sturdy and well made but the third strap was pressed against my dog’s genitals and would be very uncomfortable. I might try the smaller size. I like the idea of the 3 straps because he “reverses” out of every harness we’ve tried. He’s a rescued beagle mix.
