(Full Review)I was in the awkward situation where I knew these weren't going to be the Original rectangle ones that have always been far superior to anything else on the market, yet after alot.. I mean ALOT of Searching I found these would still be better than the rest. That says something about the competition really doesn't it!!Like many other reviewers who were disappointed when they opened the pack expecting to see the Original shape only to find these instead, I too wasn't happy when afew weeks ago (from a different seller) I ordered a pack of 18 of these (after waiting months for them to come into stock again) which I was prepared to pay £30 for because I knew how good they were going to be. The pictures in my case Only showed a stock image of the (US) rectangle ones unlike these that to be fair also show the new (EU) Counter-Productive shape.Why aren't people happy with the new shape? It's clear to see when you view the top down picture I've marked with ●You'll see that despite the sponge over all having a slightly larger suface area than the original, in actual fact only a very small amount of it actually touches the surface you're trying to clean. For example trying to clean tight around the rim of a saucepan lid.To me this shape is a gimmick.Looks nice to the eyes but it's actually less useful in reality!Before buying these, using the product code of the US version then going online I found stores in America that actually stocked the pack of 18 for around $8-10 but sadly non of the companies were prepared to export them to me. So it's either these or nothing!!Like another reviewer I too used to buy them relatively cheap in Costco until they stopped stocking them.I got this 21pack for £22.99 so I'm happy with that, seeing as these are the best sponges available in the UK (in my opinion) in this price range despite what I said above.I want to point out that at the time I ordered these there were two sellers charging exactly the same price of £24.99 and both available on Prime, but the hidden 2nd seller was offering a £2 voucher so it's always worth clicking to see what other sellers are offering, for Any product on Amazon. I'm just having to wait a couple of extra days for this delivery which is fine. Update: They actually arrived early so no delay and £2 cheaper.The main yellow part of the sponge is made of Cellulose which makes them hard wearing and Very Absorbent while also still being soft to the touch. They are about 3mm thinner than the previous ones, but still adequate for use.The green scrub section helps to remove the tougher food or other dirt particles and unlikely to stain. Update: I've found the materials of both to be as good as previous ones were.These sponges can be washed in a dishwasher but again I've previously tried doing this and it didn't seem to come out any cleaner or fresher than when it went in. You may get better results than I did so you can make up your own mind about that.When you decide it's time for a fresh new sponge then the older ones still work great for other cleaning jobs around the house like in the bathroom etc (as long as the sponge doesn't have oil soaked in).New isn't always best and if Scotch-Brite ever decided to read these reviews they'd see that us Brits aren't as happy with the EU ones and aren't fooled by the new shape.However, they are in my opinion Still the Best on the market that I've tried and if you aim for the sort of price I paid for them when buying in bulk like this then that's reasonably fair I think.Thankyou for reading my Full Review and if you've found it at all Helpful then please let me know.

I don't use any other scrubbers than these. They really are the best and I've been using them for years.

OK for the first couple of days and then you need a new one

Disappointed that these turned out to be not as pictured and of lesser quality than when previously ordered. New shape; new, less absorbent sponge; thinner scouring pad. Unfortunately not noticed until outer packaging was opened, so unable to return.
