Dried ELDERBERRIES from Europe Premium Quality 900GR 2LB

I accidentally gave this a review, way back, that was bad by accident and could not correct it. At least that's what was presented to me. This was one of the GREATEST purchases I have made. These were dried and definitely the best way I feel you need to go when purchasing it. At the time it came from overseas but the vendor was excellent. Still using it and would definitely buy it again. Cannot vouch for the properties folks present as a possible preventative but that doesn't mean anything. I use it regularly but particularly cold and flu season. Been very healthy during this period but some things like allergies that can morph into some sinus problems persist. Everyone's different.

I had never made elderberry syrup before, but decided to do so after it was recommended to me by some fellow (Instant) Potheads. These looked like the best dried elderberries for my purpose which I could locate on Amazon, so I ordered them, along with some dried rose hips to add extra Vitamin C. I used other items I had at home: cardamom pods, cinnamon, star anis, cloves, the zest of a orange, along with water, and a 1 lb. jar of local honey, following an amalgam of recipes I found posted in the Instant Pot group. It was dead easy to make. I simply measured the ingredients, and added all of the ingredients to the pot except for the honey. That went in after the rest of the ingredients had cooked together, mashed, and strained. After that, I added the honey. It is tasty as all get out, and absolutely no sacrifice to take a small, preventative dose daily; a larger dose when I came down with a bad cold (after going off for a weekend without the syrup, during which time I was exposed to a bad cold. I attribute its not being as bad as I strongly suspected it could have been, and my quick recovery to using the elderberry syrup.As a bonus, it's fantastic in fruit smoothies!

When I opened the bag I want to eat it right away......smells so good. The berries are clean and packed with care. The syrup I made was just liked the one we got from the store and paid $9. It tasted like grape jam and the grandchildren loving it. Why didn’t I discover this before! Most of all it does work. I was coming down with a slight cold and started to take a dosage in the morning and at night. It was gone the next day and repeat the dosages for 2 days. Also, when I was simmering the berries they thought I was baking a pie. I’d say the scent of happiness 🌾

I purchased my first bag and was astounded by how plentiful it was! Absolutely no sticks or leaves just dried berries! I got to a point that I knew I loved elderberry but in a family of 8 purchasing bottles was no longer ideal at all! My first batch was perfect and didn’t even make a dent in the bag! I was able to control what went into the recipe and I n my opinion it knocked out the sickness so much quicker than the OTC products! Buy this product! I just purchased a second bag because the deal is just that good!

Pretty good. Quite a few stems found but not that un common.

This is probably one of the most flavorful and potent batches of elderberries you could get. It makes a great elderberry syrup. On the plus side, there are very few, if any, twigs/stems, rocks, or berries gone bad as I have seen in other brands. I am so happy with my purchase I ordered a second bag to make sure I had plenty to last me once the first one runs out.

The product shipped from Poland, where they grow wonderful elderberries. It came very quickly--ordered August 29 and it arrived September 7, with the Labor Day holiday in between. The dried elderberries were dark and had a rich, almost chocolately aroma. They were nicely sealed in a resealable light-proof package, which is good for storage. They were very pure--no stems or leaves. I steeped some berries according to the directions and made a very nice, light tea--exactly what I was hoping for.I will absolutely buy this product from this vendor again.
