We had the old one for 21 years, but unfortunately the clock kept stopping, so we purchased the new digital one, which of cause is more up to date it was easy to fit on the wall, as it was exactly the same size as the old one, did not have to change the back plate either, the electrician was done in a few minutes. Put the time and date, programmed the days etc, fitted working in no time at all. great.

Bought as a direct replacement for old controller. Easy to fit just slid onto my existing backplate. Works fine. Easy to program

Bought this item because I wanted a digital programmer to replace a clunky manual one. This programmer would just slot onto the existing programmers backplate - no drilling, fixing or rewiring. It was an easy job. The only minus point - freeing the new programer from its backplate was not easy because it stuck.
