ZOHAN AM/FM Radio Headphone with Digital Display,Ear Protection Noise Reduction Earmuffs,Comfortable Hearing Protector

Bought these for the Petit LeMans to 1) protect my hearing, and 2) have a direct connection to the FM broadcasted track PA system. The noise cancelling of these muffs were MUCH better than just foam plugs, plus the amble padding makes them very comfortable to wear for long periods. The 2 AA batteries lasted for the full 5 days of the event and are still going. We ended up buying 3 sets.

Very happy with them-it muffles the lawn mower noise but I can still hear the radio. They were tight on my head but we “stretched” them on pillows and they fit better.

I bought these for my grandson who borrowed his grandpashile mowing our yard. He loved them. They really come in clear and the reception is awesome osnd so is the sound quality.

18 Month Review - Still very happy with the product. Despite all of my abuse (dropping it, banging it into tree limbs, etc.) it's still working fine with my IPOD. Occasionally use the FM radio but my original review of it's limited range still stands. Battery life is excellent, getting 4+ hours of use from a single set of rechargeable batteries. Would purchase this again if/when I need a new one. 6 Month Review - Very happy with the product, all of the pluses in my original review still apply without any new negatives. I've used the headset around a 100 times (dropping it at least twice) and in general treating it rough like I unfortunately do to all of my equipment. Still going strong, highly recommend it based upon my original review comments. Initial Review: First - this is an unsolicited review, I don't do "requested" reviews and only review products that I have purchased for my own use. I was looking for a "lower" cost noise cancelling ear protection headset and didn't want to spend a lot of money for it seeing as how I can be hard on my equipment. My primary use is for outside with mowing and leaf blowing activities in the summer/fall and snow blowing in the winter. I've had this product for 3 weeks and have used it 6 times. What I like about this product: 1.) reasonable cost, 2.) comfortable/light weight feel, 3.) very good noise cancelling capability, 4.) excellent audio reproduction, 5.) simple, easy to understand/use controls, 6.) good battery life (4+ hours on a set of double A rechargeable batteries and probably longer - I changed them at that point), 7.) clear, easy to understand instructions, 8.) AUX port for my IPOD. What's not good: FM radio reception range. I'm only able to pick up radio stations within about 10-15 miles (central NJ near the shore). Not sure if this is typical for this product or similar products in that this is the first one I've owned. Fortunately, there are a couple of decent FM Stations nearby that I can pick up, but it would have been nice to have had a greater range. Not sure of the AM radio reception range, I don't listen to AM. Conclusion: I'd buy the product again. My intention was to listen to my IPOD anyway, so the diminished FM range is not really an issue for me. If you're looking for the radio as your primary music/news source, then this may not fit well particularly if you're in a rural area. My rating of 4 stars is based on the pluses listed with the minus involving the FM range. The product "feels" solid and well made. I'm guessing that it will hold up well to my use, which as mentioned earlier, can be quite rough. I'll update this review in about 6 months after my winter use with a snow blower.

Looks well made, has all the features I was looking for. Really like the capability to replace the ear pads when they are worn out. Be sure to read the instructions about turning on and off the radio.

I just received this am/fm radio headset by Zohan. It appears to be very well made and durable. Batteries were difficult to insert but with persistence I was able to get them placed properly. FM radio reception was very good. Listening to an audio book through my Galaxy phone was easy but I needed to get a new cord to attach my phone to the AUX jack in the headset. Easy to find one on Amazon with AUX plug on one end and USB-C on the other end to fit my phone. Sound was very good. Purchasing this headset with a bluetooth function would have been better (eliminating the cord) but on a budget and purchased this model to save a bit of money. One issue is the tightness of the fit against my ears/head. I guess I have a big head. The tight fit is definitely a plus for noise reduction but I am not sure I can get used to this tight fit. The only adjustment possible increases the height of the ear muffs but I can't seem to find a way to adjust the width of the headset to listen the fit around my ears. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Other wise, I am pleased with this item and is what I was lookiing for, AM/FM stations, listening to music and audible books through my galaxy phone.

I can buy something almost identical to this at the local hardware store, however they don't come in grey. Also, they are the "newer" version that does not have the led screen, but instead has a tuning know with a voice that tells you what channel you are on. This is perhaps handy in noisy environments where taking off the headphones to see the channel would be ill advised. I prefer the older model. With the screen you can easily look at what frequency you are on. With the newer model it's way more trouble. You have to move the knob to another frequency and back again to hear where you are. (?) Also, the older model has the volume knob mounted in a better spot. Not a round volume knob that is mounted where you can accidentally move it with your shoulder as you move your head around. Probably not a problem if you are not wearing a heavy jacket. The older model has it recessed in the center. I will take the older model any day. Features are the same. Lastly, they had great customer service. I had some questions and used the contact email and got replied within a day and positive outcomes to my questions. As far as the other ratings go, no doubt at this price sound quality is fine as is the value. I think it's actually a few bucks cheaper at the hardware store but again, no grey. As far as noise cancelling goes, it's pretty good. I wear them when using my mower as well as in an aircraft. Use the aux. input for your phone or movie. Way better. Dampens the aircraft noise as well as screaming kids. If you read up on sound pressure and various devices, you will find that noise suppression is very dependent upon the fit of all devices and that the rating is a lab rating. I now have three of these. For the price, I don't want to be without. Just recently I travelled without and never again, They actually don't take as much room as it looks like. This model comes with a super heavy duty carry bag. I won't be using it because it takes up more space that way and would prevent you from using the space between the ear muffs for packing stuff. For my oldest pair I had to repair the swivel connection between the headband and the ear muff. (epoxy) I think it is made a bit more robust now. Would buy this product from them again.

Ideal for ear protection + radio when mowing or outdoor walking

I purchased these headphones in May of 2024 and am so impressed with the product I wanted to leave a review. The fit is very comfortable. Radio reception is exceptional. Sound quality is excellent. They also work fine as just ear protection from noise if you don’t like what’s playing on the radio. Would definitely purchase again.
