Beautiful Design, Perfect for the Small Kitchen, A Little Leaky
We have a tiny kitchen and before this we just put wet dishes on a dish towel. We recently started doing more cooking and were looking for a way to abandon wet tools and dishes; enter the Yamakazi tower dish rack. It's sleek, clean, functional, and it's got just the right angled spout to get over the little metal lip of our sink. We love looking at it, using it, and cleaning it once a week with a soapy sponge. The only small issue we've had is that small puddles of water appear underneath after use; we can be a little messy so it's not a problem to wipe up a wet counter but I think a little more care needed to go into preventing this issue. Overall a great product from an inspiring design company.

Petite, Discreet and Fits all my Hand-washables
There is nothing I dislike about this dish rack. It is thoughtfully designed, inexpensive and a welcome alternative to the bigger but kind of similar-looking Simple Human drying racks. I was about to buy a much pricier dish rack by Alessi bc it's modular but then I felt this walled dish drying rack would look neater and hold items more securely. There is a plug so that you can use it as a basin. I use the plug so that I do not have to keep it right next to the sink. It's the perfect size for a kitchen with a dishwasher. It holds all the daily items I prefer to wash by hand. It can store easily when entertaining if more counter space is needed, but I wouldn't bother because it does not make the countertop look cluttered or messy and it's small enough to be out of the way. I really like the separate sections for different types utensils or even just for spacing them out. I had only a drying mat, which is still useful for heavy pots, but this is great for sippy cups, lids, glasses, dishes, etc.

Hard to find well made, well priced product
Finally found a truly compact dish rack and it is well designed and built. This rack holds glasses, dishes, large knives and utensils without budging. The rotating drain spout is completely functional 360 degrees, draining the rack dry while not leaking a drop beneath onto the countertop. The bottom of the spout end is approx a half inch higher than the base feet so it is able to get across the raised lip of the sink without bending. Note to seller/Amazon: I have been looking for over 5 years on Amazon for a product of these dimensions and this popped up in the suggestions/what other's bought after a recent extensive search. This product never came up in years of typing in compact dish rack/drainer in search. You have no competition. Awesome product! Exactly what I've been searching for after years of wasting money. Thank You!

Cool idea, lackluster execution
I love the concept of this, and it does what it's supposed to do and is reasonably priced. However the drainage system doesn't work particularly well. Water tends to pool and puddle and not drain out unless there's quite a bit of it. This also prevents dishes from getting completely dry while sitting in it. Not a huge deal, but after I empty it of dishes I like to turn it upside down and shake out any of the standing water into the sink. Standing water in the kitchen is a no-no for me!That said, I still like it. I especially like that it sits next to the sink and doesn't take up any sink real estate unlike other drying racks. Wish the drainage system worked better but it gets the job done and looks pretty nice.

Small but fits many items
Good size to hold plates and utensils. Doesn’t take up a lot of counter space which is a plus for small kitchens.

Small but mighty
Works beautifully for small kitchens. It has given me back so much counter space. I bought the white one and love the minimalist design. I'm surprised by just how many plates, bowls, and utensils I can fit into the small dish rack. The little foot spout is also a genius design and works as intended, minimizing its footprint.I've only been using the item for about 2 months so I don't know just how durable it is but hope it will withstand regular use.

poor design
I wanted to like this dish drainer so much. Unfortunately, the plug that moves the water through the spout and into your sink leaked. Water went all over the counter. Another poor design example was the slots where you put your silverware: Forks, knives and spoons all fall over because none of the compartments are high enough to hold the silverware upright.

Easy to Use, Drains, Doesn't Dry Too Well
The Yamazaki home drainer/drying rack comes with a plug, and a rotatable drain. The drain only works on the short ends of the rack, not on the long sides. This is an okay dish rack, and it works well for a small number of dishes/glasses/utensils. It has some major drawbacks, however:CONS:1. The end slots on the utensil holder have openings that allow forks, knives and spoons to fall over into the rack. This is most annoying.2. Inverted glasses will dry slowly, if at all, as there's virtually no air circulation, and the near-horizontal floor of the rack means that the glasses are near-vertical, so the water clings to the interior of the glasses, and doesn't drain all the way out. We've found that glass driers that have an angle work the best for this.3. The utensil holder can only be used at the far side from the sink, which is annoying if you have to repeatedly drop in utensils, reaching all the way across.PROS:1) Looks good.2) Drain is convenient.

Minimal
Hermoso, minimal y resistente.

This was for mom's small kitchen countertop in her apartment condominium.Likes: She likes it. Her Shiba Inu likes it. You put dishes and utensils in it or whatever, and it drains into the sink.Dislikes about a dish drainer? Seriously? All the information is there on their website. So, there's no reason to buy it and then complain.
