I originally bought the 11-piece Twin Signature set iwth the four steak knives. this utility knife does not come in that set, but there's plenty of slots open for additions. I purchased this knife a couple of weeks ago when seeing the knife in my son's Twin Signature set I got him for Christmas. It has become my favorite and most useful knife of all. It makes me think of the 8" chef's knife made into a 6" knife. It's great for trimming the fat off a tri-tip roast and is easier to handle than the 8" chef's knife while doing this task. It's perfect for slicing vegetables or fruit or anything else (except bread). As it is a Twin Signature, it's a sharp, quality knife, and extremely useful to boot.

We used the Pro series knives at home for years. They are very expensive and have a thick steel tang leading from the blade. The new knives shown here were bought for our RV because they don't have the same thick steel tang but have the exact same blade. I became a steel nerd and now have a clear understanding of how to choose a good knife. The steel in these ZWILLING J.A. Henckels knives is easy to get very sharp and it stays very sharp. As with any good blade they deserve respect and proper care. Be sure to buy a good sheath to protect you and the knife if its going to be floating around in a RV drawer.

Quality product from Zwilling! Feels sturdy and comfortable in your hand. Have only used once, but boy did it cut the cheese . . . with ease, even. Super sharp, good weight, worth the investment.

Well made with a good grip. Good in the hand with the quality you’d expect from these high quality German knives. But, I’m giving it a 4 as it was received very dull. I would have expected some level of edge from the factory, This was ok as I have two high-quality sharpeners so I was able to bring up the edge quickly. If you’re expecting to using it out of the box, be advised. Otherwise … recommended.
