Great recycle trash bin. Sturdy and well made.

Slightly smaller than a tall kitchen bin, but for my purpose, it works well. The cabinet in my apartment is slightly low as it has a microwave shelf attached to it ...this slides right in. Uses standard tall kitchen bags.

I was very reluctant at first to order this because i felt it would be too small for a standard size 13 gallon bag and i did not want something that would be uncomfortable to empty out and transfer to our large recycle bin outside when full...Well to my surprise this worked out great and i am very happy! It fits perfectly behind my Simple Human XL wastebasket so the blue does not totally clash with my kitchen!! I definitely would recommend this and buy it again not only for its practicality and size but its made very well- the plastic is very nice and tough.

This is the perfect size for a small kitchen or even a large kitchen- because it hold so much and we keep adding to it and there are 5 of us. We usually have to remember to add it to the outdoor recycling street bin because it holds so much inside the house that it amazing.

I sense your judgement! You wonder why such a whimsical blue wonderland of positive thinking ended up in my dome of safekeeping. It is true, I have acquired the blue container of holding! Now I shall fill it with the plastics and the glasses and the cardboard and the tin and aluminum! Oh to hear their cries and lamentations! "You fool!" I hear them cry, "how could you do such a thing!" But I laugh at their horrified faces as I fill my blue container of holding again, recycling and reusing, over and over. They beg me to stop, but I refuse. They try to bribe me with wine and fine gifts but I recycle their bottles and wrapping paper, sneering in their heartbroken faces. Humanity cries out in alarm, but it is too late! THE BLUE CONTAINER OF HOLDING HAS BEATEN THEM ALL!!!

It's completely my fault for not realizing how small this is. I wish I had bought the next size up. I have a family of three and we fill this literally every day or day and a half. It's not a huge deal, but it would've saved me quite a few trips to the garage to empty it if I bought the bigger one. If you drink water from water bottles or drink coke, get the next bigger size. If you've never recycled before, you'll be amazed at how much you actually recycle. Buy the next size up if you have the room in your kitchen for it. The product works as needed, so I didn't want to ding stars for it. It would be an amazing office bin. As a kitchen bin, it's way too small.

I agree with all the positive comments and with none of the negative comments. I got this to replace a wastebasket half its size, and it fits under my sink with just the right amount of headroom to spare, and enough space to hold two weeks of recyclables. For the person who complained that it was not large enough to hold cardboard, I suggest this is not made for cardboard or any other kind of paper product which may suffer if it gets wet. This is for plastic and aluminum. For paper, you need a container with a snug fitting lid, or a lid attached to the body. For plastic and cans, this is perfect.

The size is perfect for keeping it in the pantry and has made recycling much easier to do. The quality of the bin is good.

Size: 3.25 Gallon As a dedicated paper/cardboard recycling bin, it's great! I put it next to a side door and put some of the bigger cardboard between it and the door/wall; there are easy enough to pick up by hand but the bin itself allows me to easily transport small cardboard pieces. Notice the Mountain Dew Voltage box hiding in the background. This bin works for rednecks and hillbillies too. Earlier there was a box of generic grape soda. Both were bought from Walmart, naturally. (I've been told only rednecks and hillbillies go to Walmart and drink Mountain Dew and generic grape soda. Turns out hillbillies have great taste when it comes to soda).

Nothing to write home about, but it's a garbage bin. It doesn't smell weird, it's sturdy and looks/feels well built. Good size, fits a grocery bag perfectly. No complaints - 5 stars.

Lots of space for the garbage, which is an improvement to my previous one. Durable design.

My old indoor blue bin was wide and short, so it filled up too quickly. I got a couple of these Made-in-the-USA bins because I wanted larger and taller bins. Quality is good, but I'll be keeping them indoors to make sure they last forever. NOTE: The falling stickers mentioned in many negative reviews seem to have been eliminated. The recycling logos are no longer solid white, as seen in current pictures. United Solutions has adopted Rubbermaid's hollow painted recycling logo (at least in my batch-Feb '14). Unfortunately, the logo only appears on one side, but that should be good enough for most people.

As an add on for a couple dollars it's a great deal. It's small but the dimensions were clear in the description for it.
