Salomon Men's Xa Elevate Trail Running Shoes

They fit great and look good. I am in the Air Force and am trying for EOD. We run on dirt and gravel, they feel great and very secure and supportive.

Bought these for my husband for Christmas. He loves them! He’s needed a new pair of shoes for awhile. He says they are the most comfortable shoes he’s ever owned! He also loves that he doesn’t have to tie them!

I'm at 245 miles on these shoes and use them exclusively for running. Most of my running is on the road which contributed to an earlier than expected tread demise (since they're trail shoes). However, I've worn through the tread to the foam underneath on both heels. The shoes otherwise look and feel brand new so I hate to toss them but I have to. I've had good luck with other Solomon's so I'm hopeful that the quick tread death won't be seen with other models.

Great fit and comfort. Lacing system works well. I have narrow feet, and the regular width 14 men's fit well. Quick delivery from seller, thanks. TERRIBLE shoes for durability. I trail hike on them. After about 150 miles, small rips on both shoes on the sides near the ball of the foot. And on both, the fabric and foam inside the shoe at the back of the heel is worn through. Soles look nearly new though.

This is my second pair of this shoe. Its great for all sorts of terrain, awesome grip. I put 10 miles on the the day I got them.

These will be great for wet weather. Not great for warm weather because they do not breathe well. These run narrow compared to other Salomon's I run with. Length is the same but too narrow for me for long runs. Hoping they break in more over time.

Achetées pour running hors des sentiers battus. Elle sont légères, confortables, très stables et sécurisantes. Un peu limitées sur le bitume elles s’expriment vraiment sur les chemins. Bonne accroche en montée et en descente même dans la boue. Le pare pierre protège bien et la version sans forested protège bien de l’humidité.

Ho acquistato queste calzature per correre in ambiente montano e su sterrato in genere. Veste leggermente piccola e se viene usata per lo scopo per cui è stata realizzata ( corsa in montagna, trail,...) va considerato l'acquisto di un numero in più rispetto al proprio piede.Sono un runner di 75 kg alto 1,85 ed ho il piede affusolato e leggermente pronatore, però, pur essendo una scarpa neutra, la struttura della parte talloniera non si deforma e consente una perfetta stabilità su ogni pendenza, sia in salita/discesa che negli attraversamenti trasversali. Personalmente la trovo sufficientemente leggera, reattiva e precisa con un grip eccezionale sia su roccia asciutta o umida/bagnata, che, pur non avendo una suola aggressivamente tassellata, su fango e prato. Il primo paio mi era stato regalato, ma, macinando parecchi chilometri, ne ho acquistate altre 3 paia. Ho letto recensioni in cui alcuni lamentano un riscaldamento del piede durante le uscite estive, cosa che a me non si è mai verificata, anzi, le ho trovate molto confortevoli sia in condizioni di caldo estivo sia durante le uscite con temperature fredde, sia autunnali che invernali. Abito in un paese sulle dolomiti, percui il caldo non è come nel sud Italia, ma le ho usate anche quest'estate quando si sono toccate giornate con 34 gradi. Il sistema di allaccio risulta veloce e non si allenta durante la corsa. Quando si bagnano non si sciugano velocemente, comunque con modalità e tempi in linea con altri modelli di marche differenti della stessa tipologia. Non ho riscontrato perticolari difetti, se non estetici dopo alcune uscite (circa 150km) ovvero, la tomaia esterna in corrispondenza dell'articolazione metatarsale dell'alluce, sembrava essersi rotta e forata. Cosi non era perché si era solamente formata una zona di un cm quadrato che sembrava come infeltrita, comunque senza nessun danno strutturale. Mi sento di poterle assolutamente consigliare anche in considerazione del prezzo decisamente basso rispetto ad altri modelli o marchi concorrenti. Aggiornamento del 10 settembre 2020 : Ho acquistato il 5° paio e, non capendo se fosse di fabbricazione ragionevolmente recente, scrissi al venditore due e-mail con specifica domanda senza aver avuto alcuna risposta. La cosa mi avrebbe dovuto comunque far accendere un campanello, ma mi sono voluto fidare ed ho acquistato comunque, risultato? Sono arrivate scarpe prodotte in ottobre di 3 anni fa! Non pago,immaginando una buona conservazione in magazzino, le ho volute comunque provare con il risultato di avere ai piedi scarpe che assomigliano più a scarpe da tip-tap che non da trail running. Ovviamente la colpa è solo mia che le ho volute adoperare, ma ritengo che il comportamento del venditore non corrisponda ad un livello sufficiente di professionalità, visto che, comunque, ho speso 100 euro per scarpe vecchie di 3 anni!

Gostei bastante! Ventilado, leve e mais bonito do que eu imaginava! Por ter um cabedal reforçado, o pé fica firme e não desliza na palmilha. Eu calço 41 e prefiro correr com os pés bem firmes. Mas o tamanho 42 também atenderia, para quem costuma ficar com os pés muito inchados em provas.
