Great quality, excellent fit
I needed a replacement floor drain cover for one that literally rotted away. So glad I found this unit. It was a perfect fit and very well made. It's heavy duty iron dipped in a thick paint to protect it.

Perfect fit, but use clear coat
I have a house built in 1945 and these covers fit perfectly on my basement drains. I would recommend applying a clear coat to maintain the black. I don't have hard water but it did become discolored (rusty colored) after a month or two.
