The Art of Cartier
This book is yet another Cartier exhibition catalog. It is large, very well-made and full of crisp colorful photos of numerous pieces. The text is brief but provides enough information about the house of Cartier and the historical and stylistic significance of the selected pieces. This book is recommended for those new to Cartier books and want to build-up their collection as the pieces presented are landmarks in the history of the house of Cartier. However, those who own a large collection of Cartier books and/or exhibition catalogs (i.e. Cartier and America, Cartier: Innovation through the 20th Century, Cartier: Power of Style...etc) will find very little new additions. Check it out first and make up your mind.

one of the most comprehensive books on cartier jewels and history with a lot of important technical details mentioned . however its a heavy book and received it damaged , but atlantic was responsive and resolved the matter .
