Slip Silk Queen Pillowcase, Black | 100% Pure 22 Momme Mulberry Silk

Love my pink Slip Silk Pillowcase and I got it on a wonderful holiday sale! Arrived packaged in the sturdy and cute branded Slip box. I always hand wash my silk pillowcases inside out in Woolite with cool water before using, roll up in a dry towel to remove water, and lay flat to air dry, usually smoothed out across the top of my ironing board - which gets more use for drying things then it does for ironing! I generally change my silk pillowcases every few days or as needed and handwash several at once. Yes, you can machine wash on gentle in a laundry bag but silk is one of the most delicate fabrics and will last longer with some extra care. This Slip Silk Pillowcase washed very nicely, no noticeable color bleeding, and dried with minimal wrinkles. Inside seams are finished off well and the zipper runs smoothly. It is queen sized, 22 momme mulberry silk and it is obviously thicker feeling and looking than any 19 momme mulberry silk pillowcases I own. It feels extra silky smooth and soft against my skin for sleeping and tames my hair from wild bedhead which is what I love about using silk pillowcases! I have purchased many different silk pillowcase brands and this is one of the overall higher ones, quality-wise. That being said, definitely watch for a deal or sale on Slip because while it is great, $90 is very steep for a pillowcase, especially if ya haven't invested in a quality pillow first!

I bought 5 different silk pillowcases and here are my reviews to help you decide. 1. Anit-aging pillow case. White. Packaging is perfect. It is not the softest. The outside is a little rough, the inside is not silk at all. I set it right back in the box and returned it. Not worth the price. 2. Slip. Black. Packaging perfect. This pillowcase is very smooth. It feels like real silk. The inside is smooth. This is a keeper. The price is high, but it is worth the investment for real silk! 3. Celestial. White. Packaging perfect. Not real silk. Rough. Inside not smooth. I returned it. 4. Alaskan Bear. White. Packaging not the best. Smooth on the outside, inside is okay, price is perfect. This I kept. 5. Alaskan Bear. Ivory white. Packaging not the best. Smooth as silk. This I kept. Price is perfect! Overall, the Slip and Alasakn Brands, expect smooth, softness. The others are over priced and they don't feel like real silk. I have a real silk robe for $450, so I know what real silk feels and looks like. But...you have to experience and experiment and see what works for you. Slip is definitely my number one pick! The Alsakn brand I use when I apply oils to my hair which is why I bought a cheaper version of real silk like Slip. Slip I use when I don't apply hair products. Good luck! Happy silk hunting

Very good product, the difference in my hair when I wake up is like night and day. The only thing is that I didn't read that the product is only 1 pillowcase and not 2.
