Garden Flowers Alphabet Coloring Book (Dover Alphabet Coloring Books)

I enjoyed coloring this book with my 3 yr old grandson.

I have always loved to color and I had a hard time finding good quality coloring books for adults. I bought a Dover coloring book in a bookstore one day and loved it. The problem was that they only had 1 coloring book similar to that in the whole store! When I got home I looked at the back cover and realized that Dover had a whole list of coloring books available. I looked under the book section on Amazon and found Dover Coloring Books. I was so excited! I ordered about 3 that day and now I have about 20 or more. The Garden Flowers Alphabet is one of my favorites. I enjoy coloring the first letter of my friends names and giving the pictures to them, young and old. I enjoy coloring with good quality colored pencils and the Dover books work really well with them and also with crayons. I finally found a source for beautiful pictures on good paper and I now enjoy my lifelong hobby so much more.

It's a lovely little book with nice accurate drawings. The only downside is they're on both sides of the page.

This was a purchase made for a convent of Catholic sisters with senior sisters. I was told by their superior that it will help the community of sisters a lot because this will keep them busy in a productive way.

Was going to color and put up for my 1 and a half grandson. You couldn't see the whole letter. Not the right product for me.

I really enjoyed coloring and experimenting with media in this book. I recommend this book for children and adults. Very versatile.

Didn't care for this book very much. Definitely must LOVE flowers.

Quality bright-white paper. Designs are detailed enough for an adult to easily enjoy without being too easy (childish) or so difficult as to bring on a headache. Variety of detail: D/daffodils and B/bleeding hearts are fairly basic; S/sweet pea and G/geranium a bit more detailed. I use pencil crayons, so bleeding through the 2-sided printed pages (mentioned by other posters who use markers/ink) is not an issue for me. Excellent service from Amazon; arrived well-packed and ahead of schedule (same week as ordered, via free shipping method).

Lovely colouring book. The flowers are not inside the letters but surround it. If you like flowers or gardening you will like this book even though it is not as detailed as the A-Z floral colouring book.

Je n'ai pas encore commence le coloriage, mais mon intention est de mettre de jolies couleurs vives pour les lettres, en accord avec les couleurs des fleurs, puis de l'offrir a une amie qui a un enfant en age d'apprendre les lettres. Avec ce livre (si je reussis bien le coloriage), l'enfant pourra apprendre son alphabet sur de belles images et peut-etre en meme temps apprendre a reconnaitre les fleurs (avec leurs noms communs bien sur!) - Cela peut apporter un double interet a ce livre, pourquoi pas?
