What a beautiful Stockpot!
I am a farmer. This means that I also can and freeze items from the garden for the winter. For a while now I have been frustrated when trying to do large batches of vegetables for freezing or canning. None of my pots were made for a large batch. This stock pot was recommended to me as great size and with lots of fantastic features. I trusted the recommendation enough to go forward with this purchase. I am so glad I did and here is why. First the size is huge. I bought the 30-quart size, so I knew it was going to be big enough for anything I was cooking. It was. The best thing about the size was that it is not tall and narrow. It is shorter and wide. The reason that this makes this pot so perfect is that the tall and narrow pots, when sitting under a range hood, creates a vacuum between the pot and the range hood that causes a nasty vibration in the range hood that will destroy a range hood in a few attempts to use both at once. Ask me I know as I had to replace a range hood after it was destroyed by using a tall stockpot under it. Next this pot has a heavy bottom. It is advertised as a 3 mm bottom with an impact aluminum disk imbedded for more even distribution of heat. What that means is that this pot carries the heat from the center cooking area, all the way out to the sides of the pan. EVENLY! My first use of this pan was using it with a bushel of tomatoes, cooking them down to make tomato paste. I have tried this before and have run into the problem of the center of the pan, getting hot and burning the tomatoes while the outside ring does not cook properly. Using this pan, I got no burning in the center. The tomatoes cooked evenly and cleanly. Plus, they cooked down to paste consistency in half the time of other tries. This brings me to talk about the lid of this pot. This lid is shaped so that it holds steam moisture completely. This caused me to have to slightly set the lid offside so that the steam could escape. While this was no problem and was expected, I have never had a stockpot that held the steam this well. It was great! This pot is heavy! (remember I said it was 30-quarts in size) It weighs 12 pounds empty. Filled, it is not something you want to lift off the burner often. Keep this in mind when purchasing this pot, but if this pot is so fantastic, I am sure that the smaller version of this same pot will be too. Just keep in mind the weight when choosing what size to purchase. This stockpot looks good and cleans up just as pretty as it was when I first got it. It is a wonderful addition to a kitchen. I highly recommend it.

Top notch
Love love this large Stainless steel Stock Pot. It heats evenly and as fast as my All Clad. Not as heavy as all clad but to get such a great quality at this price. Thank you

Excellent 9qt. Pot!
I’m very impressed with this pot. Very well constructed with a good weight to it. It conducts heat evenly too. This is also a very attractive piece of cookware. I love the brushed stainless steel both on the pot and cover with a shiny stainless band around the top. There’s another feature that I love about this and that’s really important. Instead of being tall this is shorter and gives you more surface area to brown. This really helps if you’re browning meat. I also love the 9qt size rather than 8qt. It’s only one quart difference but it gives you that extra room that’s nice to have. This is the fifth piece of cookware I’ve bought by this brand and I’m extremely happy with how it performs. After 50 plus years of cooking and owning many different brands of cookware this is one of the very best brands I’ve had. I would highly recommend anything made by them! Also a great gift idea for someone starting out as I’m sure they’ll own it for a lifetime!

Perfect pot. Shame I waited decades to get such a great pot.
This review is for the 30 quart stock pot. I do BIG cooking. I have a pressure canner that holds 29 quart jars. I use my wonderful stock pot for slow cooking in my oven. It fits perfectly in it. I have no negative comments regarding this pot. It really is perfect and a pure joy to use. It is very heavy duty with a thick bottom that spreads heat very nicely. I do NOT have burnt food at the bottom. The handles are VERY securely mounted in such a way that gives easy access for cleaning. The lid is heavy duty and fits the pot perfectly. I have made several 27=28 quart stews in this now. There are no defects observed of any kind. No staining has occurred. Very easy to clean after heavy use. This pot will last my lifetime and then some. The only shame is that I put off buying a great pot like this for so long. I highly recommend this pot without reservations. Great value for the price I paid.

Good quality pot
I like to make my own pasta sauce and wanted a big pot to freeze a large quantity. The 16QT holds four #10 cans of tomatoes which is a good volume. There was no burning due to the heavy bottom. It appears to be well made and I like the fact that the handles don't have rivets on the inside which makes cleanup easier. This is not a top-grade pot but I will use it just for the occasional batch so I'm not too worried about it standing up to daily use. I recommend it.

Great soup cooker
Great size for pasta and soups and big enough there’s no danger of splattering.

Very Nice Pot especially for the price
I mostly use this pot for brewing wine and beer boiling the mash. The pot is very well built with a heat sink welded onto the bottom. The pot does not loose shape especially the bottom heat sink, it has stayed flat so far and not warped while heating, the lid fits tight. I can run cold water over the top of the lid to cool the pot and no water gets inside. The handles are welded to the pot and very sturdy, when the pot is full they do not flex. Over all the best stainless pot I have owned and serves the purpose of boiling 5 gallon batches of wort and mash very well with plenty of head room. I purchased the 30 quart size and have boiled several batches of wine in it so far, Love this pot!

Excelente!!!

Exelente calidad a precio justo

My pot arrived in perfect condition. It’s quite heavy but works great. I used mine for the first time last night, I cooked 4 club packs of lean hamburger meat which I pressure canned 14 pints. It was a welcome change to have a pot large enough for all the ingredients and mix it without it landing on the stove. The heat distribution is even and heats up with a low flame. Nothing stuck to the bottom! It was tricky to wash because it doesn’t fit in the sink real well so most of the washing was on the counter. The little discolouration can easily be removed with vinegar and a bit of warm water, then rinse with plain water and wipe. The outside I just polished it with paper towel and vinegar and wala looks like new. I highly recommend this pot to anyone considering it, the quality is excellent, worth every penny!
