VERY pleased!
This Oster toaster/convection oven replaced my 11-year-old Euro Pro X, and I'm very happy with it! It toasts my English muffins and bagels just the way I like them, and I'm glad to be able to bake foods without the greater heat that my stove adds to the kitchen. I like the way the controls are set up, easy and uncomplicated. Reheating leftovers is also much better in a convection oven than in the microwave! The directions which come with this unit are simple and straightforward. A 12-inch pizza will fit fine inside, and a 9x13 pan will fit as long as it does not have handles. (If you're using a glass casserole dish with handles, the largest size you'll be able to use in the Oster is an 8x11.) I am attaching photos: 9x13 pan with unit door open and door closed, 12-inch pizza pan with door open and door closed, and broiler pan with the unit door open. I haven't had it long enough for anything to go wrong, and thus far it seems like a steal at $65. Yes, I can definitely recommend this one! UPDATE 12-27-16: I've now had my Oster toaster/convection oven for about two months, and it has virtually replaced my full sized oven. As a senior lady who lives alone, it's ideal, the perfect size, and I don't have to bend over to take pans out of the oven! :) I will say, for whatever reason, my Otter heats on the high side, faster than I'd see in my big oven. A frozen pizza, for example, which should take 15 minutes at a 400 degree setting, will be fully cooked in my Oster in 9-10 minutes on a 350 setting; higher/longer and it would burn. I admit I'd like it better if the time(s) were more on target with recipe instructions, but I've had to adjust temp/time and it's OK for me. I still love this thing!

Love it -- 5/29/14 Update
I did a lot of research both from reviews and other consumer sights. This oven, by far, I think is the best choice for those of us who want quality and don't have money to through away. The cost I think was appropriate. I am shocked at how small my old oven was and how huge this one is. I have used it every day since I got it. Yes, I would prefer a dial to select my own toast option, but these default options are working fine. I set it to 3, and gave my husband a tutorial. He is just going to have to figure it out on his own. I like setting 2 and I move the rack depending on what I am toasting, usually using the top level. The 'auto' shut off refers to setting the bake (or broil) setting, THEN setting the timer. When the timer expires, then the oven 'shuts off'. I am having to replace my old toaster oven, because the oven would turn off when the door opened during the toast mode, but did not on the bake mode. (Yes, I left the toaster OVEN on and melted microwave lids onto it.) I specifically wanted a new oven with auto shut off. So, I am having to alter my habits, yeah, probably for the better, but this oven is really a nice appliance. I don't think it gets too hot on the outside. I will definitely need to watch trying to take heavy items off the rack, with the rack pulled out. There is nothing holding the rack down. I am really happy with it, and I think I made the best choice. *** Update*** 5/29/14 This is one of the best purchases I have made. The oven cooks great. So good for just the 2 baked potatoes we eat. I would not be afraid to cook anything in this oven. You can differ your toast settings based on the level number and the upper or lower rack setting. Rolls I bake on the lower rack. Toast I toast on level 2 on the upper rack. Frozen toaster strudels I cook on the upper rack on level 3. I have baked things for over an hour, and they do great. It does not get extremely hot on the exterior. I have mine on a metal bakers rack. The shelf above the toaster - the rack rails get warm, however the rubber lining I have on them does not get to hot to matter. I places an easy clean silicone mat on the crumb tray. I just take it out, wipe clean and put it back in. I recommend this to everyone.

So I looked and looked for a good toaster oven
I live in a rental home with an oven that is AWFUL. So I looked and looked for a good toaster oven. I actually bought a different one, but returned it, before I came across this one. I wanted a digital oven so that I could set the temp accurately, and that was the strongest selling point for me. I really, really, really wanted one that would accommodate a 9x13 pan but this one DOES NOT unless you buy a pan without edges/handles. Same for cookie sheets. I'm only cooking for two, but one of us two eats quite a bit (translate that in to 17 yr old son). I make do by using two 8x8 pans, which doubles the cooking time but also gives me leftovers. So its an inconvenience that's worth it. The instructions to preheat the oven say it takes about seven minutes. This has not been the case for me. On first use, it took almost 20 minutes to preheat the oven to 350. I used an oven thermometer for accuracy (I still do). And it still takes about 20 minutes to preheat. However, once preheated it holds the temperature perfectly. I read one review where the customer was concerned about heat escaping through the area around the removable crumb tray. If heat escapes there, it hasn't affected the internal temperature or cooking time. I have not found the buttons difficult to press at all. When I do press the timer or temperature buttons I have to wait a few seconds before either begins to actually move, but this has been consistent, and all the buttons work just fine. I've used all the functions at least once just to test them out and they all work exactly like they're supposed to. However, as others have stated, there is no stop on the included rack so when you pull something out of the oven you've got to be careful or it'll tip toward you and potentially spill (and all the nastiness that goes with having 350+/- degree food spiill on you). Also you have to be pretty careful pulling out even a small pan like the 8x8 that I've been using, as there isn't a whole lot of room to get a good grip. Just be careful, and it won't be a huge issue. The light stays on the entire time something cooks and I don't see this as a real plus or minus. I like seeing what I'm cooking and when I used an oven I was constantly turning on the light and looking in on it. On the other hand I see no point in having the light on the entire time. I suppose if you don't hear the beep when the oven turns off, you'd definitely notice the light was out when you go by. I have not tried using the little pan or rack that come with the oven. To bake things I would use a cookie sheet for, I've put tin foil over the baking rack because it gives me more room. The top of this oven gets VERY hot, like it says, but cools off pretty quickly after the oven is off. And the front gets hot enough that I'm careful not to set my can of cooking spray or anything that can melt in front of the oven, either. You won't get a burn from touching the front of the oven when its on unless you actually try, but you'd get quite a start and probably wanna rinse in cold water. This also cools off quickly once the oven is off. All in all I'm very happy with this toaster oven and I'm not only keeping it, I'm very gladly giving it a FULL five stars. I'd recommend this to anyone and everyone.

GREAT COUNTERTOP OVEN or toaster oven as called by some
BACKGROUND: First, note this reviewer USES his toaster oven ALL the TIME, remodeling ten years ago wiring and outlet installed for stove plug- no stove, instead have large Butcher Block Island table. Oyster is used as primary oven,, a two burner Waring stove top finishes stove requirements. Bottom LINE is OSTER gets USED A LOT, more than a normal 'toaster oven' will ever get used. Nothing decent in quality or size under $50,, and $300 Beville is way too much money (especially when some have problems). A B&D at Wally World costing under $40 is good for two years at best.. at best. And SO,,, for the bucks, size and features (including Amazon Prime two day delivery,)... reviewer bought this Oster. PRO: Shipped in decent box and arrived on time. Really is decent sized toaster oven,, DIMENSIONS are Accurate compared to previous WARING where the Pizza pan would not fit. This Oster has easy to use controls.. Instruction manual was easy to read, operation is intuitive (i.e. IF you have used products like this before; SETUP will be a SNAP,, NEVER used toast oven before? Still easy to use; as said, manual is easy to follow, having clock set and ready to cook took under thirty minutes from opening the box to cooking (chicken if you must know, taking longer to cook than setup) SO FAR, using for a couple of week, have not used Thermometer to double check Temps; however, pizza, chicken, sandwiches ,, and some of usual fare has ALL turned out as it should in normal cooking times expected. Bottom tray is VERY easy to remove from the front. Keeping inside clean, cleaning glass window door, etc. all good so far. LIGHT on inside is BIG PLUS compared to Waring which cost MORE than this unit,, Waring controlled everything with a knob, breaking within first year and COST to return for warranty not worthwhile,,,, When cooking time has ended,, oven uses 'bing, bing bing, ' which repeats a couple of times,, oldster like reviewer, sometimes don't hear it from other side of room,, BUT the LIGHT does turn OFF when cooking is done,, and Oven DOES shut itself off. RECOMMEND: YES, H _ _ _ yes. Easiest to use toast oven that been owned in past twenty years, Far better than Black & Decker, the Waring mentioned, etc. SIZE is bigger than most and CORRECT as advertised. PIZZA FITS JUST FINE. Can even buy a 10x13 baking dish which will easily fit. CON: this unit sits on Wood Butcher Block Island table, whatever the feet are made of,, doesn't have friction on wood,, BEING VERY picky here,, sometimes when pushing keypad to set Temp and Time for cooking (Really is EASY to USE and Set,, bake, default is 350 temp, keypad + or - key to raise or lower temp, then do same + or - for Time,, Broil is another keypad item, then set time, etc).... SOMETIMES THE OVEN SLIDES BACKWARDS on the Wood table,, owner has placed hand on back of oven when touching keypad,, NOT a big deal.. Better this way than keypad so sensitive that you are forced to redo mistakes all the time. Second 'con' is worse, a real biggies, when cooking is done, the light is off,, you must push keypad for Stop (cancel) or the 'END' remains in display and if you are turning over chicken in pad,, cooking for another 20-minutes,,, cannot reset NEW time, unless you have pushed 'End' to cancel the previous 'instructions... Takes all of a whole SECOND to do.. ... and you likely would NEVER have paid any attention if reviewer had not mentioned,, Really hard to find something to 'CON" here. Give this paragraph all the 'attention' it deserves,, :)-(: Really is a good VALUE for a Toaster Oven.. Solid 5-Star product, given 4-Stars , ONLY reason for 4-Stars, One-Star was deducted since Longevity has yet to be determined,, standard practice for this reviewer with only a few rare exceptions, Reason for deducting and RATING are always given; allowing reader or potential buyer to evaluate for themselves. This reviewer always looks for LARGEST number reviews possible, then 5-Star must be twice as many as ALL the 4-3-2&1 review numbers combined <re: 300 total 5-Star reviews, then adding up all the 4, 3, 2 and 1-Star reviews must total LESS than 150 reviews. Greater the ration of 5-Star to all the others combined, statistically removes the reviewers who don't know how to review (think 1-star is highest),,, , those who knock product damaged in shipping, not having features product never claimed, or it cost too much, and so on. More expensive products,, look for three to one ration, meaning Five Star rating should be THREE times higher,, example, 300 5-Star,, then looking for products where 4,3,2&1 total less than 100 .. And so on. just davzway Reviewing practices for a Product- ALWAYS based on it's merits (or lack of) ,, NOT because of shippers bad habits for destroying package before product's delivered (aka: UPS) or buyer giving bad reviews for his not reading or doing a Buyer's Due Diligence to research on suitability of a product- and later knocks product or gives bad review for product not having features the buyer wanted which neither Manufacturer or Amazon claimed product had in any advertisement. BOTTOM LINE, GREAT TOASTER OVEN,, two rack levels are properly positioned. Size, Features and accessories for Cost, this OSTER Large Capacity Oven,, Recommend to ANY and ALL who are looking for one. NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS ONE. (did buy the extended warranty Square Deal ok on small ticket items,, IF by some odd chance, have one with defect, IF SIZE IS RIGHT AND IT'S IN YOUR BUDGET, THIS IS GOOD VALUE OVEN TO BUY,, More than enough said.. davzway

So good I ditched my regular oven
This little gem works perfectly for all my needs. In fact, now I don't even have a "real" oven in my house at all. This saves me buku bucks on electricity not to mention all the extra space I now have in my kitchen. It's large enough to handle any frozen pizza I've ever found in stores. The baking pan that comes with it is handy. I picked up a second wire rack so I could bake two (thin) items at once. The convection fan is very quiet, not that I use it much -- I haven't quite gotten the knack of it. The crumb tray is extremely easy to remove, so easy that one of these years I may actually take it out and clean it. On other ovens I've owned that process is such a pain that I normally wait to clean it until it smokes or catches fire. One of the best features on this thing is the forced use of the timer. Some folks may not like this. But let's face it, we've all set the kitchen on fire once or twice by leaving the toaster oven on. Storing your lantern fuel next to it doesn't help matters; ask me how I know this. Now you can set it and forget it, knowing that your adult beverages will remain safe in the refrigerator. There is a clock on the thing that you can set if you care. When the power goes out it doesn't annoyingly blink 12:00, it just starts at 12:00 and runs as usual. This may be a welcome feature for folks out in the boonies. Or if you live in a 3rd world country with unreliable grid power. Or if you have neighbors that like to come over with bolt cutters and cut down your power lines. You get the idea. I like being able to come home and see exactly what time the power came back on, and I especially like not having the thing blinking when not set. Now the gripes, but nothing important enough to knock off a star: - There are only up-down arrows to set the cooking time. It starts out at 30:00 and you have to keep pressing over and over to get to the time you want. This makes setting certain times very cumbersome, but this is acceptable to me because a full keypad would probably clutter up the device. If you're blind you probably don't want this model because there is no feedback for when the buttons are pressed. Ditto if you are missing all of your fingers or something. Be careful with that chainsaw because the buttons are too hard to press with your nose. Ask me how I know this too. - The light remains on the entire time the oven's on by default. This is a waste or power and bulb life. It only takes one press to turn it off but I often forget. It would be better if there was a way to change the default setting. Maybe I should read the manual before complaining though. :) - You cannot change from convection bake to regular bake, etc without starting all over. Same with toast darkness setting. Many things cannot be changed once started which I find rather annoying. - The top of the thing gets rather hot. So much heat on the outside means wasted power, but I suppose it's unavoidable. You definitely don't want to set your beer down there, or store your bread on top of the oven. - Toasting takes way too long. Silly me for trying toast in a toaster oven. Buy a separate cheap toaster or give up toast. It probably causes cancer anyway. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this oven. You will be too. Buy it. If I had a 2nd kitchen I'd buy a second one. When this one starts on fire or accidentally gets on the wrong end of the shotgun I'll buy this exact same model to replace it. ** Update *** 8 years later it's still going strong! I got lazy about 1 year in and stopped manually turning off the light when cooking, but the bulb remains working and I've never changed it. I'm still using this as my ONLY oven in the house. I could not be more pleased! I've not once in these 8 years had anything that wouldn't fit in this oven.. Sure you can't bake a large turkey but if you condone killing animals you're going straight to hell anyway.

Could not ask for a better product!
I received my oven and must say I am very impressed from every thing to the way it was packaged to the way it bakes. I am not a "tecky" person, but I didn't need any instructions to set the clock or fiqure out how to use the settings, so simple. The interior light is a wonderful feature, but the glass door is large enough to give a good view of the item inside. I have used toaster ovens for about 45 years, and have never really cared for making toast in a toaster oven, for toast, I use a toaster. This is my second convection toaster oven and I wouldnt be with out one, I bake biscuits several times a week and they turn out nicer than in my big oven, baking pies, muffins etc. are wonderful. The convection baking takes about 1/3 less time than a conventional oven and requires about 25 degrees less in temp setting UPDATE: I have had my oven for almost 2 years now and like it as well as the day I first received it. I used it daily mainly for baking and warming, I would still rate it 5 stars--perfect. It is so easy to clean, mine still looks like new. We have had various Oster products in our home for several and have never been disappointed. I have had my oven for over a year now and use it several time a week for baking alone and it still bakes like a dream, so easy to take care of and clean, it still looks like new. We have several Oster products in our kitchen, bread machine, foodsaver just to name a couple, their quality has been excellent as well. One thing that impresses me is anytime I have a question, I can call Oster and speak with a rep that is always helpful, not all companies can say that now days. I find all of the settings work perfectly, I cannot think of any thing that isnt positive about my new oven, looks great and works perfectly--this one far surpasses my previous convection------thank you Oster. 3/1/13 I wanted to checked the oven for heat accuracy and found that it runs 25 degrees higher than the temp setting.

Love it!
We bought this one to replace our 12 year old Oster convection toaster oven that had the door break, the components still worked fine. Since we loved the longevity of the Oster, we bought this newer model and it works just as great as the old, with some upgrades to some features. The light automatically comes on when you toast and bake, and is very bright. I use the convection oven a lot for the two of us to make roasted potatoes or heat up leftovers that need crisping. I haven't explored the pizza or defrost function yet (I use the microwave for defrosting). Like any toaster oven, it is a bit on the slow side to heat up but toasts nicely. It's not gigantic and takes up a normal amount of space on the counter

Attractive and a great size. Easy to use
Loved the size can get almost anything in it.i use mainly convection bake. It works fine but seems to take longer and higher temp than my previous oven. The roof and elements have got dirty quickly and are difficult to clean. I do wipe it down after use. Maybe this is normal for any oven. It is certainly an attractive appliance. What happens if the digital controls cease to work?

Good product. Responsive vendor. WOW.
Product has performed as expected . It's easy to use, warms evenly and quickly. Overall, we are pleased with the purchase. The only downside was before the item had been with us a few days, the price had dropped enough to induce a bit of buyer's remorse. I remarked on that and the vendor responded and adjusted the price as a goodwill gesture. We were impressed enough we will be shopping with this vendor again soon.
