Loved it. Looked good under the tree; we didn’t worry about the carpet underneath.

I ordered this based on reviews and it looks like it might do the job (just received it so yet to test) but those who are considering buying this need to be warned that this is in no way a heavy duty type mat.It's basically felt with plastic glued to the back. It arrived folded so it has three big creases in it that I'm not sure will come out. They could have rolled it to avoid this. I don't think it's worth the $35 I paid for it either.. $10-$13 maximum. I won't be using it this year since it took so long to arrive so I couldn't wait anymore. When it did (today) my tree was already up - a bit of a disappointment. I instead used an old plastic table cloth and a piece of cardboard to absorb water - same basic concept.Anyway, I think this will serve the purpose a later date.

Protected my hardwood floors from any spills when watering the tree. Looked nice.

Works well with the Christmas tree stand.

It’s OK not great

Great for preventing the tree strand from scratching up my wood floors. I like that it's reversible. It's felt so it did form wisps over time but that's okay.

This would be great if it was slide proof. Maybe works on carpet, But not hardwood. Felt on both sides. Might as well be a broom.

While filling up our Christmas tree today, I spilled a little on the mat. I saw the spot it made and was worried at first because it began to soak in. However, when lifting the mat and feeling underneath, no water to be found. Another benefit of this mat: if you have hardwood floors, makes it easy to slide tree around to the perfect position! I would definitely recommend anyone buying this to protect their floors from spilled water.
