Great speakers!
Replaced my OE front door speakers in my 2005 Nissan Frontier with these. Huge improvement! For the money I don’t think you can get much better. They are very efficient, power wise, and sound great with just deck power. Removed the old speaker and these just bolted right in. Make sure to order the correct wiring adapters for your vehicle to make installation even easier. Cerwin-Vega has been in the speaker business, both home and mobile, for many years. Great upgrade for the money.

I think they rock!
I matched these 6x9 CERWIN-Vega XED 6x9s with the CERWIN-Vega XED 6.5" speakers (that have the separate 1" tweeters) to replace the 6 speakers in my 2014 Toyota Corolla. I powered them with a BOSS BR920WCPA 20W RMS/85W Peak X 4 channel head unit. I just trying to replace blown OEM speakers and an OEM head unit with something that offered Apple Play and easier access to the equalizer. I got this all installed today and this system sounds way better and gets way louder without distorting than I was execting for the money. I love it. The speakers all have large magnets for their size. I own some vintage Cerwin Vegas and an old receiver, I have an affinity for the name Cerwin Vega, it is the only reason I bought these cheap Cerwin Vega speakers off of Amazon. I thought they would work but wasn't expecting that much. I will re iterate. These more than surprised me, I love this stereo in my little commuter car. LOL. I could just sit in it in my driveway and destroy my ears for hours.

Clear sound and great price (poor shipping)
First of all I would like to address the shipping issues I had with this seller. 10 days after I paid is when I received the product. Description says two (2) day shipping. UPS scheduled delivery for three (3) days in a row. Only to say severe weather was causing a delay each time. This was not the case. Each day was nicer than the last. Poor customer service and shipment fulfillment (shame on this seller). Now the speakers: excellent value for budget CW 6x9 speakers ( yes you get two). Each came with the grills and mounting screws with crease washers. Also includes two(2) short pieces of black and white speakers wires with spade connectors on one (1) end. I must note her that I only used the grills out of all the parts bag as I had my one and soldered my heavier gauge wire to the speaker terminals. These went into a custom wooden box with Bluetooth amp of 50 rms for which they respond fantastically. Solid bass and excellent vocals with cymbal articulation very much at the fore(I’m a drummer and like a full sound spectrum) Conclusion: solid sound for under $50 , but don’t order these thinking you will receive them like most Amazon shipments.

Fits 2012 Tundra
My 2012 Tundra Crew Max has a very shallow speaker configuration. I tried many others but they hit the windows bracket on the inner door. These fit the bill perfect. Note, you'll need a set of front door speaker adapters to line up with the factory mounting holes. The sound was an improvement over the factory speakers. Plenty of mid range punch and a decent amount of bass. Coupled with a small 12" sub, i am very impressed for the money spent. Are there better speakers out there? Absolutely. For someone like me who only uses his truck a few times a month, I don't think I could find a better alternative.

Great sound for the price
I installed these as a 4ohm setup to not have a sound quality issue. I have 1 in each saddle bag on its own channel of a 4 channel amp. These speakers excit your ears with each level of sound. Bass, mids and Tweeters. Whichever genre of music you desire, these speakers will not disappoint. I figured for the cost, why not try them. If the work, which they do, great. If the performance isn't as good, then the cost would have me regretting the purchase. Which I don't regret. My gain is closing to half and I can be heard a few blocks away and clearly.

2017 f150... sounds great!
2017 f150 xlt (crew cab) without upgraded system... I have the larger display but that's it... music sounded flat without very much in the way of highs. I tried replacing the center speaker first but that didnt help much because there isnt enough power going to that speaker. I installed these cerwin vega 6x9s and I couldnt be more happy... the dual tweeters did the trick. I was worried there wouldn't be enough watts from the stereo, but it drives them just fine. As far as bass, I'm not sure, I have 2 12 inch infinity shallow subs under the back seat in that ported qbomb box made for the truck. Sounds awesome. Best system build I've done after all these years. Used a pioneer gm84 something to power the subs. I'd go with these cerwin vegas for the doors though. I did a lot of research before I purchased them and I was right. Fit perfect with the Metra speaker base (saddle?) Not sure what to call it but you need it for the f150 for the new speaker to attach to. Good luck!

Decent But Not Near Enough Bass - Lightweight Magnet
Believing that the vaunted Cerwin Vega name would carry through on these 6 x 9 coaxial's was a mistake. While the price point suggested a bargain - what I got was an "average at best" set of speakers. The first thing out of the box I noticed was the weight, i.e., magnet weight. I was replacing a set of Walmart "Boss Audio" 6 x 9 triaxials that blew the mid and tweets. But the weight of those cheapies was impressive as was the bass response - flat and deep, with a magnet weight of over 26 ounces. The CV's magnet weight comes in at about 14 ounces. A relative lightweight. I know what you're thinking - you get what you pay for and that's just what I got. With all of that said - not a bad pair of speakers for the $35 price tag. Should have (and will) shell out the extra $50 bucks for a pair of Blaupunkt or Rockford FossGates!

Works fine in 2002 Buick Century
I was concerned about how far the mid-high assembly stuck out above the top edge of the speaker itself as compared to the dead factory 6x9s I was replacing, but that turned out to be a non-issue. Even if the top of the mid-high assembly touches the underside of the factor grilles (which would be a major pain to remove from the underside of the rear window deck, and those grilles cover much more than just the speakers), the mid-high protrusions are protected on top by their own little hard plastic rings/grilles. When reinstalling the rear window deck, the speakers did not seem to affect (push up on) the factory grilles or the deck itself. As I raised and lowered the deck slightly, and I heard no difference in speakers sounds or vibrations. The three mounting holes for the back deck (where you push in the big black plastic pins/anchors) were unaffected, which is another indicator that the speakers were not unduly pushing up on the factory grilles. Also, don't worry about the 4 ohms vs. 8 ohms thing. My Century has the "Concert Sound II" 6-speaker system with two 4 ohm speakers (a 6.5in and 2in tweeter) wired in series in each front door (for a total of 8 ohms, because they're in series). The factory rear 6x9s were clearly marked as 8 ohms. Yet, these (or likely any other) 4 ohm speakers worked fine, and the sound coming from the rear using a 50/50 front/rear fade sounded great (not too much or too little sound coming from the rear). Of course, Metra 72-4568 connectors or equivalent are required to directly connect the speakers to the factory wiring harness connections in the trunk without cutting/splicing.

They sound great!
The original driver side door speaker in my Jeep Renegade went bad so I decided to upgrade. I didn't want to spend a fortune but did want something with more power handling capacity than the 15 watt originals. These fit the bill. The door panel opening wasn't quite big enough so I had to enlarge the hole but since it was made of plastic that was possible with a utility knife. Job done. Sounds good. Money well spent.
