If I made a mess sealing my shower is it easier to get off than silicone?

CT1 is quite different to silicone.  CT1 is primarily an adhesive . . . but is also used as a sealant and as a filler, it is very versatile.  If you use CT1 to seal the parts of your shower that need to be water proof, i.e., the corners, around the tray, door edges and the like, it will do it just as well as silicone and in my experience somewhat better. I stopped using silicone for this purpose about 7 years ago soon after CT1 appeared.  Silicone is quite ok to use for your shower sealing, but as you may have already discovered if you make a mess of the job you will find difficulty in getting old silicone off neatly enough to do the job again. If you make a mess using CT1 you should wait 24 hours for it to harden right through and then you can carefully cut it out with something sharp like a Stanley knife and you should be able to cut/scrape it all away, not so with silicone. So, here is a tip from someone who has successfully used CT1 on all sorts of jobs . . . . . . would you believe that you can mould CT1 into shape with your finger . . . . but you MUST keep your finger wet, you can pat it into shape and you can repeatedly run you wet finger along a line of CT1 and push it into an even shape . . . .  but the second your finger is dry it will catch and pull out of shape.  Once you have completed your job with CT1 you should not touch it for about 6 hours to give it ample time to partly harden, but then you can run your shower and feel that lovely warm water running over your head and shoulders and body . . . . . oh dear enough of that stuff!  😜

Well CT1 is not a silicone sealant but unique hybrid polymer formulation that is able to stick onto wet surfaces even under water making it the perfect sealant for sealing fish ponds, it contains no solvents so will not contaminate the water extremely aquatic friendly. There have been occasions when the fish have nibbled at the cured CT1 with no adverse effect but with so many species of fish we cannot say that for all species. CT1 has a food safe certificate and is the 100% Eco-Compliant and has an EC1 and EC1 A+ certification.

How do you open this sealant please?

You unscrew the pointed top and using a sharp knife cut the top off  then cut the pointed top to get the width of sealant you require

Can I use CT1 on cement?

Drilled a hole through a brick wall and filled it with CT1 a builder advised me to use it.
