It has always been within date. Surely it depends when it's ordered as to the use by date.

Is this a glass bottle or plastic?

Sometimes it comes in glass and other times plastic. Bit of a lottery I’m afraid.

How hot is this? On a scale where 1 is "tabasco - shake it over scrambled eggs, who cares" and 10 is "one drop will have you in pain for hours"?

I have this sauce on pretty much most meals even breakfast. I love hot spicy food so I don’t consider it to be too hot !
