Love these candles! Yes, a little expensive, however, they are sturdy on their own and once you put the batteries in - they stay firmly on the windowsill. I have had mine since 2020; I purchased 3 boxes (I needed 12 candles and wanted an extra set to have on hand. The one-time investment was more than my plug-in candles; however, I would never go back - I love the convenience and look of these candles!! One problem, my fault, not theirs... I accidentally left the batteries in at the end of the season last year and 4 of my candles were ruined. I was hoping to purchase the candle alone because the bulbs are fine and the base is fine, I just need the candlestick. Otherwise, they are great! Quality, Timer, Weight, Look and no fuss, install batteries, set timer (just tighten bulbs) and place in window - forget about them until it's time to take down your decorations!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE

These candles make decorating so much easier. No unsightly cords and search for extension cords. The batteries last at least one full season and the timing feature is easy to use and saves having to remember to turn them on and off. Also, they look good! It is worth it to spend a little more and have a more substantial looking candle!

I ordered these for both of my daughters and finally broke down and bought them for myself. I needed 36 of them, but decided I could live without some of them due to the price. They work beautifully and I hope will last for many years. I bought the Amazon basic batteries as they were a good price and so far are working well. UPDATE: the battery life is not 30 days. At best it was 14 - 18 days - they started to fade at various points. I don’t know if it was the batteries and may try a brand name next year. I still love the look and lack of cords.

Very nice, good quality candle lights. Better battery life than previous ones I’ve used. Just wish the light was a bit warmer.

I ordered 2 packs of these. 1 of the 8 candles never worked. The other 7 looked beautiful for the first month. As other reviews mentioned, they started to fade after a month when it was time to replace the batteries. When I replaced the batteries, only 4 or the original 8 candles lit up So, now I have 4 candles that don't work at all. Since it's been more than a month, I don't have an option to return them. Buyer beware... these are bad quality and not durable.

I absolutely LOVE MY VERMONT CANDLES! They look sooooo lovely in my windows. They are very easy to care for. The only qualities I wish were different are: I wish they stayed on for 8 hours or more, and that the battery life laster longer. That being said, they are sooooo easy to care for and use. They are the PERFECT COLOR, at THE BASE and CANDLE COLOR. I had wanted a matte black base and pure white candle. I wanted a steady light, that did not flicker and these fit that requirement perfectly. They have the PERFECT COLOR AND WARMTH FOR THE LIGHT the candle gives off. Instead of having something that was 'too LED looking', with a bluer color, or one that looks orange or too yellow. This candle gives off such a perfect light/color! I particularly like that the side that faces outside is brighter than what I have shining into the home. You could reverse it, if you wanted the brighter side to shine into your home. Your choice. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE CANDLES! TOTALLY WORTH THE PRICE!

Pros: 1. They are bright and can be seen from far away. 2. Battery operated so no need to plug in. 3. Attractive 4. Good quality Cons: 1. Glass bulb is glass- I've never seen so many tiny pieces of glass come from such a small bulb when it falls and breaks- and it will shatter if it falls. 2. 4 double A batteries per candle. That's a lot of batteries... 3. They don't seem to all die at the same time... so you are battling changing batteries or live with some not as bright. 4. Expensive 5. You need to replace the batteries once during holiday season... so 4 batteries times 2, times 20 candles = expensive holiday décor. If it wasn't such an expensive initial investment, I would continue my search for plug in candles that are pretty much impossible to find. These will do until my parents die and I inherit their plug in candles.

Best battery-operated, bright, no flicker, candle on the market. However, I do not appreciate Amazon stuck a label on the packaging and shipped the product in the product packaging with no outer carton. The box is damaged, and I need it to store the candles for years to come.
