needed this for my foundation year at uni. It goes over all A level physics, sometimes the explanations are good other times not so much. just a WARNING: there are some errors in the book - the answers at the back are not always correct

A properly proof read and reliable physics textbook
A generic pre University Physics book, can be used with virtually all A-level syllabi, and IB at a push. I'd commend it for being properly proof read. Unlike more recent books of this type, there are hardly any mistakes in it. The questions make sense and the answers match the questions. You can set homework from this book without having to apologise to your class afterwards.
