Perfect beach bag

I love the look of this bag and was attracted by the proper gusset giving a flat wide base. It also has an internal zip pocket which is a bonus. It seems sturdily made and the fabric should be hard wearing. Being 50% cotton and 50% jute though it is very rough to the touch. I'd be happy to throw a lot of stuff in there but not anything fine, delicate or fluffy. I also find the feel unpleasant to touch. I dislike jute bags but thought mixed with cotton would be fine but it's still coarse.The big has a zip which is a bonus but it doesn't zip the whole way across. This is by design so that the zip flaps lie flat inside the bag and allow it to be folded. But I wouldn't totally rely on the zip for security or containment.The handle is long as most of these bags tend to be - suitable for over the shoulder rather than in the hand which may be a consideration for you.My intended purpose for this bag has had to be adjusted. I wouldn't want to put my knitting or my scarves/shawls in this. But I'd be happy putting my trainers or (most of) my shopping in it.

Eono shopping bag is one first class very top quality bag which not only holds my shopping but with the added bonus of a very sturdy zip means I am very happy with the security of the bag. It is made from a heavy material which means it is strong and will not fall apart the minute I put something heavy into it.The strap is long enough to allow me to carry my bag on my shoulder or I can comfortably carry it using my hands. The straps do not dig into my hands even after a days shopping.I like the fact it is a bag which has no advertising or any motif whatsoever on the bag, it is a simple high-quality bag.A great shopping bag which I am happy to recommend.

This is a large and very solidly constructed cotton/jute mix canvas bag.The material is quite thick and feels very heavy-duty. The Amazon description of the bag says that it can carry up to 20kg and (although I haven't actually tried it) I can well believe that.It's a seemingly more hard-wearing bag than I had been expecting, to be honest. The material is a lot thicker and seems more durable than I had expected from just the photos on Amazon. I am confident that it will provide a good number of years of use.In terms of looks, it's also classy and sufficiently non-descript that I can imagine using it for just about anything - and wearing just about anything with it. It's not going to clash with whatever my clothing ensemble might be.I'm pleased!

This is a nice-looking bag with an internal zipped pocket that can hold valuables or smaller items that may otherwise get lost, as well as a top, almost full length zipped closure.The fabric is robust but, although the bag is gusseted and therefore suitable for use as a shopping bag for groceries, the base is not reinforced and is likely to be the first point of failure if used regularly for heavier loads.Although of reasonable quality overall, the fabric weave is lower grade with quite a few flaws, stitching is haphazard but acceptable and the zip opens and closes unevenly.The bag is okay overall and should pass muster for several grocery shops or trips to the beach. It is also machine washable on cold, which is always useful with fabric bags.

The quality of this is very good. No loose stitches, or pulled seams and the zip looks to be sturdy. It's big enough to use for a work bag, overnight bag, or even a baby changing bag, and as a shopping bag with the advantage that I'm sure this would go through the washing machine. I would have liked it better if it could fold down smaller, but the material is pretty thick so I can see why that isn't the point of this. It's a very pale beige - natural canvas colour. If you're an artist looking for bags to paint, this will take acrylic although I've only done a very small square to test.

This is a very nice bag. Sturdily made, with a zip at the top to keep all your stuff safe (and dry). It is made from natural materials and the manufacturer’s claim that it is strong enough to carry up to 20kg (which is more than I would want to carry anyway!)It doesn’t seem to have been dyed, and is a light colour which I guess will get dirty over time, but it is machine washable. It is quite large, and has a zip compartment inside which is handy for small items like phones and keys.Taking into account how well made it is, I feel the price (at just under £16) is very good value for money

A very substantial jute shopping bag. Even when empty it's got a little bit of weight to it. There's a couple of nice touches; it can be zipped shut and inside there's a separate zipped pocket hanging down from the inside top of the bag that loyalty cards etc can be stored in. This pocket is big enough for a wallet or purse but I wouldn't personally store that in there.It's very well made with not a stitch out of place and it's very tough. It is a bit plain looking but that aside it's an excellent large and tough shopping bag.
