Amazon Brand – Rivet Gwyneth Mid-Century Velvet Queen Bed, 92.1" L, Jade Green

The bed is amazing! And I'm not sure why all the reviews say it isn't sturdy. It is extremely sturdy when assembled properly. I am 120 lbs and my hubby is 220 lbs and we have zero issues with it. The fabric is absolutely beautiful. I'm in love with it!

Beautiful bed soft and as shown on picture. Once assembled the headboard and legs wouldn’t stay together. I had to purchase bed feet propers to place where the two meet to keep them together

So I haven’t put the bed together yet but it’s beautiful! I purchased the bed in the green. It’s So elegant yet so simple. I may adjust stars and add pictures once I put the bed together. Edit: so I finally put the bed together and much of what the other reviewers stated is accurate, such as: the holes and screws didn’t really align when it came to putting in the rails; either the nails don’t screw in all the way or the holes are too big, there is no center support—if you’re a big fella or girl like myself (or a smaller person based off the reviews) the bed, as presently designed will not support you—there needs to be center support to better distribute the weight. The slats are also spread too far apart to be supportive. Personally, I didn’t even bother putting the platform portion together. I change the bed rating from 5 stars to a 2 star rating here’s why: the bed is beautiful: the fabric and color are nice however it’s not practically designed because of no center support. To fix the support problem, I bought a used queen platform metal bed frame and placed it in where the wooden slats would have been...it works wonderfully. The pro to doing this is that my frame will be preserved, the con is that I had to purchase two beds, this one and the metal platform bed—-it’s a frame but still a bed. For this bed to be over $500, I expected more.

EDIT: We’ve had the bed for maybe a month, and last night, out of nowhere, the middle support broke and sent us falling to the floor in the mattress. Amazon has been great about the return and refund. This is a pile of garbage. It’s a beautiful jade green color and the velvet is incredibly soft. The instructions for assembly are worse than an ikea project. The slats that are included are super cheap quality and splinter very easily. We were missing a bolt, but amazon was great about helping fix that issue. Overall I’m Happy with the bed aesthetically, but the quality is lacking a bit with the assembly.

I LOVE the look of this bed. It’s gorgeous. You definitely need two people to put it together. Believe me. I spent three hours trying by myself. Also, the directions are awful. Awful. But. It’s sturdy and gorgeous so... 4 stars It seems sturdy, which is surprising given all the reviews, but I’ve only slept on it for a few nights.

Love the look of this bed and the quality is great however it doesn’t seem very sturdy. We’re going to have our handy man come out and add an extra support bracket as it seems like the joint between the headboard and the bed isn’t strong enough.

When I purchased this bed there were no reviews. I wish I had written a review sooner to save other people. Short version: This is an awful bed. You can buy a $5k mattress and put on it and you will not get a good nights rest. Long version: It is a nice shade of dark green. It is not actually velvet but more of a micro fiber-ish material. You can have a professional assemble this bed and it will still wobble. If your partner moves at night, and your mattress seller assured you that you wouldn’t feel it —get ready, the entire bed will move. If you partner sits up in bed and then lies back down, you will feel it. Upside: if you want a moderately nice looking bed that no one will ever sit or sleep on, by all means, go ahead and swipe right on this mess.
