Military Specs. FRS/MS 2000M DISTRESS LIGHT MARKER

It works perfectly! Was able to see it with NVGs on my Field Training Exercise and I gotta say even timid this is a older model, it still goes strong, would definitely recommend fir an IR Strobe.

The item I received is a PART No. AA59176-02 as you can see in the photo. It has two LEDs and does work with night vision. However I will say it is not very bright at all in white light mode. Making me wonder if it is truly the Mil Spec MS2000M that is advertised.

Being used I tried them (2) immediately upon delivery. They worked flawlessly, as if new. Great features are polarity of batteries molded into the outer body. Came in original case to be tied to a survival vest. Chord secures battery cap to body to prevent loss in the dark. IR cap works as intended.

The item I received was not the same NSN.I received NSN 6230-02-630-6263 which is the led version.It seems way weaker than 250,000 lumens.No idea if this qualifies as false advertising but I know I feel douped.

Exactly as used by military. My husband swears by this strobe. Well worth the price.

Good buy when you loose the issued one

Item was not as well built as I expected. It is very cheaply made of light plastic. One would think with military specs, it would be a lot sturdier. The pouch is worthless. The snap on the soft pouch was VERY hard to open. I had to use 2 pairs of pliers. I'd recommend a hard case for ultimate protection.
