Tetra Micro Sticks Fish Food (45g) (May Vary)

I just got some Clown Killifish and wanted a (non-flake) floating staple, the bigger ones happily take these but I would say the food is too big for the fish. I bought micro sticks because all my fish really like the Tetra Prima Mini Granules. The micro sticks are bigger than the mini granules! Therefore, not suitable for my purpose but I believe it to be a good food all the same. My sometimes fussy betta took these straight away, they are bigger than his hikari bio gold. Unsurprisingly my greedy neons were all over these, mine are big and I would say the mini granules are much better for neons both in size, and for column rather than surface feeding. Micro sticks are way to big for my Boraras (strawberry Rasboras) though they did try hard. Probably a little big for clown killifish. Really good and readily accepted by my lamb chop Rasboras - will use these over flake and granules now for them. In summary these are great for small surface feeders but are too big for tiny fish with small mouths. For tiny fish I really like Tetra Prima Mini granules but those sink a little fast if you don’t have mid water feeders and scavengers to clean up.

I ordered a tub of this fish food but unfortunately was damaged in transit .I spoke to Arron and he was very helpful and was sent another one straight away 5 stars plus the fish love the food too 😀

I don't have a clue what they taste like but fish seem to like them.I asked fish but they ignored my questions. Ok the good thing is buying online it saved me a 44 mile round trip to pet shop that's why I got them since I had run out and didn't have spare time to travel .(it says to mention the flavour when starting review so if your daft enough to ask then I'm daft enough to ask the fish that question)

It didn't came with the tiny dosage spoon unfortunately, and the chunks are a bit too large for my rummy nose tetras. They struggle a bit chewing the pieces, I might go back to flake food instead, such a shame

My community fish go mad for this will buy again

Probably won’t re buy these but that’s just because my fish don’t seem as keen as previous foods I’ve had, do really like the spoon that comes with it though

Fish absolutely love it and it doesn’t float down.
