There are several versions of this belt on Amazon and it was hard to know which to get! I bought this one based on the sizing - I ordered the medium, 32" - 34" waist. This belt is 40" long from end to end, including the buckle. I have a 32" waist and it fits me perfectly with just a few inches "extra". I think it would be marginal for a 34" waist unless you don't mind stretching it quite a bit. It is pretty stretchy and I prefer the belt to hang on my hips rather than be cinched tightly around my waist. The construction looks good and sturdy and I like the infinite adjustment - you just poke the tongue through the weave wherever you want. The ends are definitely not leather, but some sort of artificial look-alike. But they're fine, although I'd prefer a darker option with the beige webbing. Overall a great value.

I am a woman with an almost straight lower body, my hips are only a few inches bigger than my waist. I have tried many cuts, styles, sizes, and brands of jeans/pants, but they always slide down as I walk or even just sit. These nice braided elastic belts, along with high waisted pants, are the only thing that have ever worked! They have normal buckles and look good with a tucked-in shirt, unlike many I viewed that have a cheap, flat metal or plastic buckle. They are generously sized: I ended up keeping them in two sizes down from the first size I ordered. I recommend measuring where you want the belt to fit (hips or waist) and ordering the size that it 2 or 3 inches bigger than that measurement, they stretch well. They seem good quality. All the belt buckles are silver-colored. They have a decent color selection, but I would like to see them add: different shades of brown and gray, and, especially, burgundy, which is a wardrobe staple for me and that I coouldn’t find anywhere. I bought the belt in every solid color they offer because I like to wear colored jeans. I ordered pink and purple from another vendor. I think these would work great for men, too, they have a substantial width, at least 2 inches. My only complaint is that the size and color are not shown on the outside of the package (it’s all in Chinese). All of the 20 or so that I ordered arrived about the same time, so to do my return, I had to open and measure every belt and put a Post-It with the size and color on them, so that I didn’t return the wrong ones. Highly recommended; I now can walk around hands-free because I don’t have to hold up my pants with one or both hands anymore!

I don't have much in the way of hips to hold my pants up, and I don't like suspenders, so I have to use a fairly tight belt. Due to a major wrist surgery, I've been down to one workable hand for the last couple months and haven't been able to pull a leather belt tight enough. No problem at all with this belt. In style, it bridges the gap nicely between dress and casual. And it is very comfortable. Some reviewers dock it because the leather tab on the free end is "too big to easily thread through the buckle." That's plain silly! Just give it a slight twist and it fits easily. That takes no extra energy with this stretchy belt, just maybe one extra brain cell. The little bit of extra leather helps to keep the belt end from unravelling and makes the end easier to grasp. I haven't had it long enough to judge its durability.

I ordered a belt that is supposed to fit a 40-42" waist, but it is only 42" from one end to the other. No slack. Since it is stretchy, it fits, but it is tight, because some of those inches are taken up by the buckle and the leather at the other end of the belt. You might prefer to order one size up. I can attest to the quality though, because I bought one a few years ago (the right size) and it lasted several years. It does seem like lying is the industry standard when it comes to belt size. Not "Fits" this size waist. It is that size from one end to the other.

This belt does what it is supposed to do! Yippee!!!! Holds up my pants!!!!! This is the second one I had to order because the sizing is kind of "tricky" to figure out. I sent the first one back and moved up to the next larger size so the belt end would easily fit in to my pants belt loops properly. If you are order your correct size, you will be able to use the belt but it my not fit the belt loops of your pants passed the first loop on the belt itself. Probably your best bet would be to order one of your exact size and another the next size up and see which one fits best. The one that does not fit you can always send back. These "stretchy belts" work very well with Summer shorts and jeans. The belts are comfortable and are inexpensive enough so as to allow you to throw them away when they wear out and then order a new one. I think you will like this belt, once you get your sizing right.

I ordered a large which was supposed to be 36 to 38 inches but the belt that arrived today is 47 inches long. I ordered up a size based on other reviews. Needless to say, I will be returning this belt. It does have a nice stretch, and I was really hopeful that it would work out for a comfortable work belt.
