I don’t normally leave reviews, but was impressed with the quality and price of this adapter. Works perfectly with a Predator 8750 inverter generator and the Vulcan 220 multi process welder. Hope this helps someone else looking to use this setup.

Bought this adapter to connect welder to generator. Originally planned to make one, then saw this. Would cost me nearly double in parts!This is well made, materials put together nicely and it works! The only reason I'll ever need to replace it will be because I lost it!

This is a great product if you have a Ryobi Generator with a 240 Volt 30 amp 4 spade Twist receptacle and you need to power a welder that uses a 3 prong 220V. I wish you staged this with the Welder I purchased on Amazon also. It is super quality and will last years.

used to power a welder from my generator. It's rather short and that could cause stress on the generator connector. Welder plugs are big and heavy. A longer cable would allow the heavy adapter to lay on the ground to prevent stressing the plastic 240 volts connectors on the generator. Any higher price would be worth it to protect the expensive generator. As is, I have to zip tie the cable to a generator handle. This is a case where using less wire makes bad sense.

I haven't had the time or ability to use this product yet but after looking it over, I have no doubt that it will work as expected. Upon inspection, this adapter is build for long term use, The heavy gauge wire and ends are built with quality in mind. I did check to make sure the ends would fit on my generator and welder and they connected like I had hoped. You can't go wrong with this adapter.

Holy cow! What a well built cable. I am very glad I have purchased this cable. I made one in the past but it was damaged in a field. The components alone minus the 220v cable I had added to almost the price I paid for this bad boy. The cable is super stiff, as my cable that I made is really for supplying equipment in a plant from the roof. I have read a review about it not twist locking in so we will see if that was just the reviewers generator as I would think the stiffness and length would cause a problem. I will leave a better review once I actually use and hook up.

Needed an adapter for my Hobart welder because the 240 on my generator only accepted the round type plug. This works great!!!Update:When I first bought this it fit my cords really tight. But now that it’s broke in a little it installs and removes with relative ease.
