I used this for the covering of two outside 7/16" 4GA electrical cables on our boat and one sections covered both cables. That's what I was hoping for and it did an extraordinary job. It's not hard to apply. I cut it with a hot knife I use for sewing. It's very good looking and so far, appears to be pretty abrasive resistant. Only time will tell on sun exposure. I'd order this product again in a heartbeat.

Quality and price.Comes on spool and the product is quality make. 1/4" is size when pulled tight, can take at least a 1" diameter bundle when pushed together and it expands in diameter by the netting. Bought this and the 1/2" PET because I wasn't sure my wiring would fit, but it easily could join and protect five 12ga automotive wires, and didn't need the 1/2" - performed better than expected!Price per foot is unbeatable from any local vendor/shop/automotive parts. Looming is over $1/foot, and not as nice as this PET expandable loom.This report will be a "repeat" on the 1/2" that I didn't use, cause I am keeping for future projects.

This is a fantastic way to bundle cable runs into sub-snakes to both clean things up and prevent tangling, especially when you have something that moves around. We built a few snakes with this and another size we purchased. For a camera run as well as some ethernet sub-snakes for a few network racks that commonly slide forward to gain access to their backs. Before, the racks were a mess to slide around. But now they do so cleanly without any trouble thanks to this (and they look great).We'd recommend taking a lighter or something similar to the cut ends to help mend them a little so they don't fray into a mess. Also, applying to heat shrink helps with this as well. Creating a clean and professional run.
