What a miracle!
I have an elderly toilet that had grown increasingly unpredictable. No outright clogs, just incompetence in completing its task. It often -but not always-required multiple flushes and sometimes the plunger. The intermittent nature of its performance was so confusing. I was very reluctant to call in a plumber, fearing they would damage old pipes by using force with a snake and whatever else might be used. Before making that call I read about this product and figured there was nothing to lose by trying. Some of the reviews were extremely helpful, so I decided to ignore the “save your money” reviews and went for it. Since the directions said only to add hot water if the water level went down, I didn’t add any. The water level just stayed exactly where it always is even after I added the packet of product. It just sat there at the bottom doing nothing. I left it overnight and in the morning the water still was at the same level and it didn’t look promising so I did a little gentle plunging and flushed. It went down but still seemed off. I was so disappointed, but decided to give it another go. Added another packet, let it sit for a few hours, plunged a bit and this time it seemed much improved, but not perfect. A little more plunging and then decided to be patient and see if maybe it needed more time to ‘digest’ the product. This is now day 2. A couple hours later i flushed again and *it was perfect*! No hesitation, no halfway effectiveness, no weird ominous gurgles from its depths. From that point forward it’s only gotten increasingly better. In fact, it’s now working better than it ever has! I’m going to use this stuff monthly. So grateful!

Did not work on a purely organic toilet clog. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
This toilet was installed six months ago. Before installing, the drain pipe was thoroughly snaked with a toilet auger and cleared. After several “sessions“ with hard BMs, the bowl was completely blocked. As we use a bidet solely, There has never been toilet paper, feminine products or any foreign objects used in this bowl. Two days later the gobbler plunger powder I had ordered arrived and was used following the directions. After soaking for six days, there was still no water draining and the plumber had to snake the bowl, finding the blockage was in the toilet bowl itself. (IE: the goblin powder should have settled directly on the clog without having to go through Lynn pipe and dilute itself. I would have asked for a refund, but I ordered a two pack andI had used one.

Read the reviews! This WORKS but it’s not fast …
So glad I took the time to read the reviews … really helped understand how quickly to expect results and how the product actually works … and if it was gonna work for me, how easy and pretty much painless the process might be … fingers crossed! This time our master bathroom toilet was impossibly clogged. There had been an increasing number of clogs over the past couple of months and slow flushing which cleared with average plunging … but this was the grand pooba! Absolutely no movement after two days and plenty of hot water and plunging. Water would very slowly go down but that was it. We were sure it was time for a new toilet (maybe the one that flushes golf balls) but that meant removing the old one with all the wonderfulness still inside and that was gonna be nasty. Should mention that husband who is a pretty good handyman had to leave on a business trip leaving me a 73 year old definitely not handy (and not happy) wife to enjoy the problem. So like any seasoned shopper I looked on Amazon and Google for solutions. I read that products for clearing regular sinks and drains weren’t for use in toilets because of dangerous heat buildup and potential for cracking and damaging commode and pipes (best to not use the Drano) … so needed a product designed for toilets. Handy home remedies like vinegar or using dish detergent didn’t seem like they would be strong enough for this problem and seemed like more work than I wanted to do for a test. The more I read, discovered toilet clogs could signal a bigger problem. For all I knew might have to hire somebody to get on the roof to clear some kind of toilet air vent or have our main drain line dredged to clear tree roots. And there are lots of things to think about when buying a toilet. In addition to pressurized flushing and extra swirl, apparently toilets have different sized traps - the bigger the better, and be sure they are glazed properly all the way through for a “smooth” flow. The more I read it even seemed like some of the regular products for keeping the bowl clean could actually cause problems with clogging. And a snake (there are ones specifically for toilets) or some kind of industrial air plunger were just not anything I wanted to learn to use. (I’m a competent woman but there are some skills I really don’t care if I have.) Pretty sure it was time to call a plumber … but then I saw these nice tidy little green packages of crystals - no toxic smell, nothing particularly deadly or dangerous about them, and you could just dump them in, maybe add some hot water, and ignore … what could be better … and thanks to Amazon they’d arrive the next day. Placed a double order so 4 bags (considered buying a case because the refund policy looked pretty good) - just to be prepared. Day 1: Dumped one in, followed instructions, waited a couple hours, no bubbles or anything, added hot water (not boiling) as instructed … had dinner, watched a movie … flushed … 😳 oh dear - nothing, absolutely no joy. Day 1 - 4 hours later: Plunged, added very hot bathtub water several times, plunged some more … nothing. Added another full bag (glad I had several) decided to wait till morning, let it sit overnight. No stinky smell or bubbles or any kind of unpleasantness. But didn’t look like anything was happening either. Day 2 - morning: Maybe something going on? Water in bowl is brownish (it had been clear as clog was way in). Added some more hot water, plunged, might be draining a bit? water seemed to be slowly going down maybe just a little, stayed clear. Left it alone and went to work. Day 2 - evening: Flushed - seems like maybe it’s starting to work … maybe just a little better? Added hot tap water a couple more times, plunged enthusiastically, had dinner and watched TV. Day 2 - later: OMG!! it might be working!! … flushed … slow but … flushed again a few more times - each time water drained faster and no backups, water stayed clear … could be it’s back to normal? … really? no big dramatic finish? that’s it? decided not to push my luck … Day 3 - morning: YES - All good!! everything working, maybe even better than it had been (seriously who ever really spends time watching how well their toilets flush!) And now since I have the hang of it, decided to add bag 3 just in case. Probably don’t need to but this problem has been building so why not and I’m on a roll! Today: It WORKED! It’s been a week now and still good and pretty sure better than before. We are very happy with this product. Highly recommend. Plan to follow with regular maintenance using 1/2 bag every month or two in each of our toilets as suggested. BTW it has a handy ziplock so keep that in mind when cutting it open but it’s also recommended not to keep an opened bag around for more than just a little while. Will also be looking at their other products to see what offerings can help prevent other drain and drainage problems.

Worth every penny!! Just have patience and trust the process
We had the worst toilet clog we’ve ever experienced, and nothing seemed to work. We tried plunging, using a drain snake, and every other method we could think of with no success. The toilet was so disgusting that we were honestly dreading having to call a plumber. As a last resort, we decided to try this product. We used the first packet exactly as directed and left it overnight, but didn’t see any results. The next day, we used the second packet, again following the instructions carefully—adding hot water, waiting 15–20 minutes, and then flushing. At first, it still seemed like nothing was happening. Then, little by little, we heard the toilet start gargling, and suddenly everything finally went down. The clog was gone. This product literally saved us from having to call a plumber. My advice is to be patient and follow the directions exactly. It may not work instantly, especially on severe clogs, but in our case it absolutely got the job done. If you’re considering calling a plumber and want to try one last thing first, this is definitely worth it.

Read reviews!
If you have a major clog, don’t expect this to work in 15 minutes. Think more like 3 days. After plunging vigorously and trying all of the home remedies, I decided to try Green Gobbler. I added the first pack with hot water and, although the product itself doesn’t have much of a smell, when it came into contact with the waste water, it was the more vile scent that has ever assaulted my nose. I let it sit for about 24 hours with no change in the water level. I tried flushing, which did nothing but bring the water level up even more. I then added the second pack with a little more hot water. 24 hours later, no change. I took a big risk and flushed again, which almost made the toilet overflow. At this point, I had no good option left. I couldn’t plunge unless I wanted waste water everywhere, I didn’t want to spend money on a toilet auger/snake, and I really didn’t want to have to call maintenance and make them see/smell that. I took the action of taking no action and decided to give it another 24 hours. At about the 68 hour mark, the clog finally went down the drain on its own! No additional flushing or plunging needed. I’m happy I read the reviews on here that said to give it 3-4 days. I’m not sure if this is the first product I would reach for next time, but here are my lessons learned: 1. Do not flush if the water level hasn’t gone down 2. Only use if you have another toilet in the house that you can use while this works its magic 3. Depending on the type of clog, be prepared for some nasty sewage smells 4. Depending on the severity of the clog, be prepared for it to take a few days 5. Add hot (not boiling) water to the bowl after dumping a packet in All in all, it did its job. Just took a little longer than advertised.

Worked a miracle for me. Gave the product 48 hours to do its magic and could not be more pleased.
I'm not one to get excited about any kind of "cleaning" product but these packets of Green Gobbler POWDER PLUNGER Toilet Bowl Clog Remover are apparently made by wizards. They worked a miracle on my clogged toilet! After wrestling for a couple of days with two different types of plungers, this septuagenarian surrendered, thinking calling a plumber was my only option. Not expecting much, I turned first to our friends at the Amazon to look for something that might solve my problem, short of calling in an expert. I poured ONE packet of this Green Gobbler Powder Plunger Toilet Clog Remover into the bowl, topped it off with some hot tap water per the directions and stepped away. I checked on the situation a time or two but did not attempt to flush it until 48 hours later. Wonder of wonders -- It worked like a magic charm! Toilet is flushing and flowing perfectly today and I could not be happier. This product is not cheap ($19 with 5% discount in March 2025) but it is a two pack and, in my case, one packet did the trick. The manufacturer suggests using half a packet from time to time as a preventative and I will probably do that in a month or so, just to keep both commodes working the way they were intended. $19 is a whole lot cheaper than bringing a plumber. If you have the option, order this product and dispense it per the simple directions. Then let your family know that toilet is off limits for two days. Give it time to do the job. If Green Gobbler doesn't solve your problem, then call in the experts. Hope it works as well for you as it did for me.

Disappointed clog remover
I just received this toilet bowl clog remover, and I used both packages on two different toilets that were slow flushing, and I followed the manufacturer's directions, and I literally left the ingredients in both toilets overnight, and the only thing that it did was left a nice wider porcelain area were the products set, and that's about it. It in no way shape or form improved the flushing at all.

No sirvió mucho

Be patient!! It definitely works but can take time
Have used this product successfully twice now on a 3rd floor, seriously plugged toilet, snaking didn't clear...most recently it took close to 2 months but the toilet is flushing again...no new toilet or plumber required, if you can just let product and time work their magic, . Similar experience with their sink drain product...plugged bar sink drain..took quite awhile but the clog eventually cleared and has been clear ever since
