So, I had thought I wrote this review months ago, when I first got the case and put it through its paces. The short version of what I would have said back then would have been: Amazing value for the money, waterproof, rugged, and very impressive. Handles drops and water no problem and honestly easier to use day to day than lifeproof. After 8 months of use, I finally broke the case today. There was a relatively heated incident that involved a phone being thrown across multiple dusty/rocky fields and slammed on the ground on concrete. After all of that, the phone is completely fine and the case finally gave in. I still can not say enough how surprisingly awesome this case has been and how much overall BETTER than lifeproof it is for 25% of the price. That said, here are the weaknesses: 1. The screen protector/back cover both scratch relatively easily. Depending on what made contact, it can sometimes leave ugly chips on the protector. Function is unchange, phone is undamaged, but worth noting. 2. The fingerprint scanner spot feels relatively flimsy, and after long use, starts to become loose and makes fingerprint unlock less accurate. Still waterproof and works overall, but still a minor quibble. 3. Extreme drops/force can sometimes pop the case open. Generally, phone will survive just fine, but has high risk of eventual damage of the phone.

Very sturdy! Bought thus for my husband. Well...he accidentally left it on the roof of my car when we were heading home. When the light turned green I stepped on the gas & saw something fly off my car. I was like what the heck was that? He said I don't know; wait where's my phone?! Turned around to get it thinking it would be shattered from the hard landing on the road. Turns out it didn't even have a scratch! Very strong case!!! We definitely recommend for clumsy people like us! LOL

I was pleased with the quality of this case until I realized my charging cable male end wouldn't fit to charge my phone through the opening. The opening is slightly off center and/or too small for any slightly larger male connections than the cables that came with the phone. ... All the buttons on the sides are perfectly responsive with only the resistance of the rubber material itself. The fingerprint reader works good; Tip is to make sure you clean the reader on your phone and remember to take off the protective shipping material on the case. True water test not yet properly tested, but have high hopes. Wouldn't try and dive/swim with it, though. The only true hole in the case when all ports are sealed is the small hole at the top right (which I believe is the main antenna for calls, etc) But as long as your phone is snug, I don't think it'll leak into the case. I've dropped my phone without this case into the ocean and had to take off the back panel for the phone to completely dry and come out of water detection alert. Staying shallow to merchandise specification depths will probably be fine as I'm assuming water pressure wouldn't overcome the air pressure in the case; Perfectly fine for rain or accidents. [8/28/23] Audio Jack Cover tore off Not sure how this happened. Probably because it wasn't pushed in flush to the case when I put it in my pocket. Guess it's typical with flexible rubber parts.

Finally found one that fit my old phone and its really nice

The case has great protection from fall and water damage, it's saved my phone from multiple drops that would've destroyed it without the case, But what I don't like about it is the thin plastic membrane material over the fingerprint reader that looks like it could be easily punctured by stuff in your pocket, I'd rather just have the fingerprint reader completely covered up for a better waterproof seal. The only other downside is my phone sits a little bit crooked, I've tried re-seating it several times but I cant seem to get it perfectly straight, it doesn't really bother me but it might bother you. UPDATE: Just as you'd expect, the plastic membrane over the fingerprint reader did in fact fail, it lasted longer than I thought it would but I still think it's a stupid design and the case would be ten times better without it, aside from no longer being waterproof, the case continued to do it's job and lasted the life of the phone, keeping it in the same condition as the day I got it through countless drops and tumbles onto the concrete. After 4 years my only complaint other than the fingerprint reader is the way dust ends up building up under the screen protector and affecting the responsiveness of the touchscreen forcing you to take the case off and clean it out every few months.

I am very satisfied The case is sturdy and I like that It will not only protect my phone from hits, but also from dust and water. The case preserves the quality of the pictures at the front and rear cameras It is light weight, but it definitely adds some volume to the phone, which I consider fine. (Low profile cases will not provide as much protection. The plastic on the finger print reader is very thin but, after one month of use, is working fine. You can leave the power port open to enhance the quality of the sound trough the speaker and the microphone.

Very durable phone case, charger port cover did manage to get pulled off very shortly after, but i managed to loose it in the snow and run it over with a vehicle to find 30 mins later. Phone is still perfectly fine and so is the case. Just cannot seem to get the case off to clean under ocassionally, have to call for assistance

I bought it 1o months ago and it is very strong built. waterproof as well. This is the most secure phone cover I have ever seen.
