Used this to help circulate water in a turtle tank. The water got low at one point and this continued to work. I have not used it for a water change yet but will try it out in the next week or so.

I had it for 2 days before it stopped working, set it up on a timed cycle so that it wouldn't run dry pumping the condensate from a portable AC unit. I do not recommend this because it just isn't a quality build the internals are all plastic as well

Works well, perfect for small fountains

I wanted to love this pump because of the reviews if you read the instructions number one it says you shouldn’t run it dry you can overheat and do damage to the motor but that’s not what they say when you purchased it also it will not prime with the power on so if the pumps going in the water starts filling up it doesn’t prime until it’s almost at the top of the pump and even when it is working it’s much higher than the level shown on the picture it’s almost to the starting of the blue when he gets thinner on the side of the pump I love this poppet is quiet and it does pump very powerful but it’s not exactly what I said in the in the advertisement

Full disclosure: I'm using this as a pump for a low spot in the basement rather than in a pond or fountain. This pump does a good job at moving water but does need to be primed to get started. I would assume this wouldn't be an issue if completely submerged. Not sure how much head it could deal with - the flow with 3" of head is rather meager but it does still work. The power cord is a bit short compared to other pumps I've purchased. Will occasionally make a loud buzzing and not pump water, even with water present. No debris present in water or unit - jostling and re-priming get it running again. Okay product with an okay price. Might or might not buy again, depending on what other options are available.

Theres NOTHING at all i dislike about this tiny wittle little (basically sump pump).. i have 3 Flood trays in my basement.. height is a issue when using DE 630w CMH.. and only have 6.5ft from floor to ceiling point is theres NO ROOM to have anything to put under the trays or drain the trays... so i NEED a bottom sucking water pump to fit right in the the little drain area where drain holes are supposed to go.. but this thing.. fits right in that spot, sucks up that low level water that other pumps cant ... has OK sucking power for its size... has 1/4'' and 3/8'' i think..lol adapters... i cant even hear it on at all... not 1db... i mean NO NOISE... just sucking water... so it drained my trays all the way down to the best level it could which is just amazing.. I'm buying 2 more so all 3 of my drain trays will be drained all at the same time.. this is exactly what anyone who needs to drain run-off.. just get these.. and some line and T's.. and timers... and you got yaself a automated system to drain run-off ... DEFINITLY WORTH MY MONEY.. its not the strongest pump but to drain run-off... with light debrit.. and things youll be amazed....

little reliable pump. easy to use. pumps steady and at a good capacity. the suction cups keep it in place. just enough pressure for a fountain.

The pump works, but it is not strong enough to pump water up and out the window from the A/C collection bucket. I will need to return it for the next size up.

Awesome little pump for the price

The description says 6.5' of lift, but the pump cannot do that. There is a sticker on the pump itself that says Hmax of 0.6m, and Fmax of 300L/H. those are probably closer to correct.

To conserve water I bought a huge cube to catch rain from the downspouts. Dropped this pump in with a garden hose attached and voila! Garden watering made easy.

2 months in and it just stopped working.

The pump works, though water level needs to be quite high to function the first time. Worst problem is it rusts.. not good at all.. very low quality.
