Is this really 50 foot? I only count 12 rings in the picture, and they would need to be 4 feet apart to be 50 feet long. That seems...off.

I counted the ladder rungs. It has 30 rungs.

Will this fit a 12 inch window/wall width?

The wall thickness range it fits is 5.51-11.02inch.

Will this work on a balcony?

If you have something to hook it onto, it should work on a balcony.
