Can this be used with an integrated taillight or do they plug in to the same turn signal connectors?

They'll use the same connectors so if you were going to install both, you'd have to splice one of these kits in.

What load equalizer is needed for a 2021 kawasaki ninja 400 and is it DOT compliant?

I used this on my 2018 ninja and it was just plug it in and go, no equalizer needed. I'm not happy with how small the turn signal is tho if I were to do it again I would purchase the integrated tail light. I would like to still do that but then you would have to splice the wires if you were going to use them together.
