Volcom Men's Recliner Flip-Flop

I tried these on at a PacSun and then found them on Amazon for much cheaper (big surprise, right?). Before ordering I had read others saying they run a little small and that was true so I ordered one size larger than normal.Upon receiving them I noticed the left sandal thong/bridge (I don't know what else you would call it) fit a little differently than the right sandal did and was more a little more loose on my foot. Normally I would say that I'm just weird and my feet are different sizes but of the several different pairs of flip flops I have had over the years have never had this problem. I considered sending them back but I decided to deal with it and I either don't notice it anymore or the right sandal stretched out to be about the same length; either way it ended up being a non-issue.They are very light and feel a little cheap but so far they are holding up very well and they are easily the most comfortable flip flips I have worn to date. There may be better ones out there but I have yet to find them. I definitely wouldn't recommend them if you have a puppy around because it would tear these into a million pieces with ease as there isn't much rubber on them.Also, I purchased the "Charcoal" color but they most definitely look black to me. Not a big deal since charcoal is a dark grey anyway, but just FYI.Overall I am very pleased with them and have convinced a couple of friends to get them also after they tried them on.

Just as the title of my review says, these are the most comfy flip flops I have ever walked in. The platform where your foot rests seems therapeutic because it's very soft and squishy, making for a very comfortable walk. You don't even notice the thong between your toes. I bought them for my fiance and we wind up fighting over who gets to walk in them throughout the house on our tile floors. I have several pairs of comfy socks, slippers, footies, flip flops, etc, that I have purchased over the years to wear in the house and these do not compare in comfort. My fiance loves them so much he doesn't want to wear them outside the house yet. We have only had them a couple of weeks so I cannot attest to their durability, but for the money we paid and the appearance of the quality, we expect them to last awhile. I came on here today to find the woman's equivalent. I don't even like flip flops of this sporty style, but sometimes after running or working out or standing on your feet all day these flip flops are perfect. I do think the price is a little steep preventing us from buying different colors in the same shoe, but this IS the type of flip flop that could take you comfortably through an airport or amusement park anyday.

I bought these because they came highly recommended as being really comfortable. They're by no means uncomfortable, but they don't really stand out compared to any other quality flip-flop.The thing that drops these down to 3 stars is that they are really noisy. They squeak. I wore them to my (casual, obviously) office once, and was afraid to leave my desk because whenever I walked anywhere, people looked up to see what all the squeaking was. I'd wear them to the beach or in a crowded, noisy place, but if I have to think about where I'm going and whether the squeaking will be too loud, I might as well just wear something else.

I've had these for over 2 years now and they show very little signs of wear. I remember when I first got them they were a little tight but once you get your footprint in them they fit perfectly. Even after 2+ years of use they still feel supportive and have a good cushion to them. I've taken them through beaches and rainforests and on rocks and the hard sole is still like new and very protective.My only complaint is listening to the reviews saying order a size up because they run small. I ordered one size up and they're a little too long, and I've been waiting for them to break for a while so I can order them again in the right size. But they just won't give up on me.

I love these flip-flops! The padding in the soles is so soft, they are great to wear around all day long. I usually wear flip-flops as my primary shoes once the weather gets above about 70* and these are so far the most comfortable pair that I have owned to date. I'll keep buying these as long as they're available.Small update - after wearing them frequently for a couple of months during the summer, the nice soft padding does wear out rather quickly under the ball of your foot and at the toes. I'd still buy them again when the weather gets nice, but they don't last long.

I wanted a pair of flip flops to use around our hot tub. I hate flip flops - they're uncomfortable crappy shoes, but for this limited purpose it seemed like they'd fit the bill. I couldn't find anything I wanted in local stores, so I checked out Amazon and stumbled across these. They're a tad pricey for flip flops, but WAY more comfortable than the cheap crappy things you find in an ordinary store - the sole is thicker and just cushy enough to feel good. Only four stars because the thing between your toes is still uncomfortable. I took the advice of others and bought a size a bit bigger than normal - worked out great. If you want a pair of flip flops, these are worth the extra money.

my dear sweet (totally manly) husband has these weirdly sensitive and super soft feet comparable to baby buns. he always complains about flip flops being too hard to walk on. this product has solved all our AZ summertime soft-footed hubby problems!

They are comfy for sure.This may be a personal problem, but I found one flop (left) fits better than the other. On the right foot, the strap has a little more play, requiring a bit more effort to keep it on while walking. Haven't confirmed if one strap is larger than the other, or if my left foot is 1.5x fatter than my right. All in all pretty neat though. Would buy again.

Order a size or two biggger.. wear 8.5 got a 9 fits like 8 lol.. very comfy tho..

Super comfortable, only problem is is on the insole where the straps connect to the sandal - it was a little 'sharp' for me, so I fixed that with some black Sugru and they are...

The best flip flop I've ever owned. Love the squishy soft feel.
