This was such a great find for my 12-year-old son, who had to wear a cast for 12 weeks over the summer. We spend a lot of time in the pool, and this product made all the difference. It kept his cast completely dry, was easy for him to put on and take off, and held up to daily swimming and splashing. Pros: • 100% kept water out • Comfortable and didn’t cut into his skin • Durable — survived a whole summer of use • Gave my son freedom to still enjoy the pool with his friends Cons: • Takes a little getting used to the tight seal at first, but that’s what makes it work! Bottom line: If your child (or you!) has a cast during pool season, this is absolutely worth it. It let my son enjoy summer like any other kid, and I’m so grateful we found it.

This cast cover was a lifesaver for my husband while he had pins in his hand. Not only did it keep his arm completely dry in the shower, but he was even able to swim in the pool without any water getting in. It fits securely, is easy to use, and held up great. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable waterproof protection!

I never really leave reviews but wanted to for this particular item. This cast cover was purchased for our beach trip due to an child unfortunately breaking his arm a week prior to leaving. The cover was durable and withstood a full week of vacation. He used it all day in the ocean and pools. No water or sand got in. He was not careful either he enjoyed bogey boarding, swimming, and playing in the sand just like he normally would without a cast. It exceeded our expectations and truly saved our trip! I HIGHLY recommend! We had a cheaper less durable one for showers and it would not have held up. I hope this review helps someone on the fence like I was because it is truly an awesome product! ** Two tips I would suggest- Measure the arm and use the size chart. Lastly we learned the arm will sweat inside of the cast cover when used for hours in the sun so we had him take a break each hour or so for a few minutes to let air circulate and we would ensure no condensation was on the inside of the cast cover **

This is something you don't buy unless you are injured and need it. I.e., You don't wear it and pose it with underwear as shown on the Amazon page. For that reason, I would like to give suggestions that might help other people in the future. First of all, it is a durable and excellent cast protector. It does not leak water in and keep the cast dry. However, the narrow neck should be an inch longer. If you are not careful and leave a bit wrinkle in the neck (it is about 0.5 inch long) water will leak into it. Second part is, it needs some sort of texture in hand area to make easy to grab of soap or shampoo. It is too slippery as is now. Those who wear these are already handicapped in terms of holding or grabbing, and smooth surface make it even harder. Lastly, instead of one size fits all, having S/M, L/XL options would be beneficial.

Yes it costs more than many of the others, but this is much more comfortable, easier to use, seals perfectly, and as far as I can tell will last longer too. The cheaper cast protectors are made from thin plastic with seam heat staked (melted) together. This process makes for a much weaker seam that is prone to fail. (I've had two fail this way.) In contrast, the BLOCCS is made from a single molded piece of latex rubber so it has no seams. The rubber is stretchable and fits over my cast much more easily than the elastic cuff of the cheaper cast covers. I've never had a leak, and it's comfortable to wear in the shower. My only complaint is that the thumb protrusion is useless to me, but that is likely in part due to my cast configuration. I will note that the instructions state that it's designed for four weeks of use; that seems short to me, but I presume that means for outdoor use. Since I'll only be using this the shower, I expect it will last much longer. (And I'll need it to since I'll be in casts for six weeks total for this thumb, and then in a few months another six weeks for my other one.)

Ordered the adult “short” version. This doesn’t exactly as described. My spouse has a cast over the elbow. Is petite size and this covered it all perfectly. I’ll add that you should get the larger model if petite is not your size. Too long wouldn’t impact anything. The person with the cast cannot put this on theirselves and will need assistance from comment that can stretch the opening well enough to allow the person with the cast to put their arm in it as well as remove it. A perfect water tight seal is achieved allowing showering to happen without worry. I highly recommend this.

Buy a cheaper version. Didn’t even last the few weeks my son had his cast on. Not worth the price. Very thin and easily ripped. Will not be buying again.

I'm thinking it might be partially my fault, but this thing only lasted a week. It had a hole in it that then tore, did not notice it until my cast got soaked. Like I said, I think it was partially my fault so I'm giving it three stars instead of one.

Mon fils s'étant cassé le bras et après avoir testé les fameux sacs poubelles pour la douche j'ai testé ce produit. Et il est génial ! Cela a redonner le moral a mon fils en lui redonnant le confort de douche et lui a même permis d aller dans la piscine... inespéré avec un plâtre !!!
