BCM-1 for Baseball & Softball backstops

I got this mount to use for my 12 year old daughters fastpitch softball games! Works GREAT with my gopro 5 blacks, especially when you use app to ensure the camera is pointed where you want it thru fence. Could not improve at all. Also with the camera up high people tend to forget its there and the center of the fence is where the lives of softball families are down and dirty like a slow roller down third base line with runners on the corners with one out. I have heard coachs beg other coachs to let their kid on a team cause his team sucks! Works as an amazing back scratcher also. Another tip for you smart purchasers, consider connecting your car keys to this magic pole when in use so you dont leave it behind. It is easy to do, so far I have only had to make a u turn for it once, I think that's pretty good since I have left the kid twice lol

I’m a parent of a travel softball player, and this is the perfect tool for mounting on any chain or net back stop! I have used for both, and the results were great. Setup is simple and easy. The best part about it is the ability to get above the umpire so you can see the entire field. This is especially nice if your child is a pitcher. I was suspicious of how well this thing would work especially on a net, but I have yet to have a problem. Strongly recommended.

Go pro tends to shift while mounted. If a ball hits the backstop, it moves this pole just enough that it can change the angle the camera is filming.

This works better than any other alternative that I have tried. I put in a fresh batter and turn on the camera, open the app on my phone and connect to the camera so I can view the shot. Since I’ve had this for a while and typically hang the camera at a similar height I know an approximate tilt angle for the camera. I used a bungee cord through the bottom handle and attach it lower in the fence to “pull” down on the pole. Bats, balls, catchers run into the fence and hit the back stop and the camera stays put with no noticeable deflection of the camera angle. A few times foul balls have hit at or near the upper mount and the result is the same, little to no deflection. This is the best camera mount on the market.

This is perfect camera mount for recording tennis matches.The mount fits very firm to the fence and has good weight to keep the mount sturdy even when its windy. The extender gives good extension to reach to hook it at top of the frame.Note that this can't be placed at the very top of the fence. This can only be hooked in the fence mesh but it doesn't matter since it can be placed at the very top mesh of the fence instead of top of fence which is almost same. It helps camera to get to the height where it covers entire court. I hope it even stays firm when placed over the green wind screen in windy days.The product advertises to place it around the fence and camera looking thru the fence but it really doesn't matter to place it from inside / outside the court as long as it fits firm to the fence. At least for tennis, I have to place it on the fence from inside to control the camera as and when needed.Overall good purchase and happy to get this. Product arrived early than delivery date.

Chip Hudson and the Backstop Camera Mount folks are great. The product is excellent and is great for our 11 year old baseball team. We had a slight mix up in our original delivery and Chip and his team went above and beyond to make it right. Highly recommend this company and product.

It’s definitely a sturdy product, BUT I found it difficult to initially align my GoPro lense through the fence opening and after that it needed constant adjustment. It didn’t take much to knock it out of adjustment. Seems like I had to re-adjust it many times throughout the game due to foul tips hitting the backstop. I’ll go back to my LynkSpyder. It did hang really easy and may be perfect for other sports.
