Good for light duty use
These are good for temporary comms, but need more robust housing and hardware to be viable medium-long term

It is probably not water proof and the battery dies after one hour
I liked the as the strait outa the box It works instead of charging it for how long.I disliked that it did not work with another walkie talkie

Modern replacement for BF-888S
These radios are like more modern versions of the familiar BF-888S. They sound better and appear to be more sensitive. In addition to the drop-in charger supplied, you can charge them via a USB cable from a computer. Easily programmed with the free downloadable V12 software as well as other similar software using a common Baofeng programming cable.
